He sighed deeply, realizing that his brother was not going to bend on this. It went against everything he had been taught growing up, to allow someone who could cause danger and havoc within their clan, within their home. I can see ye are nay going to back down on this lad, but surely ye can understand my concerns. Ye would nay willingly put Sabrina in the way of danger and if I allow Evie to be in the lasses presences...tis exactly what I am doing. I respect her yer mate because she is the lady of this house but I am nay as blinded to her faults as ye are. Tis nay just the powers she has that have me worried, she doesnae ken how to handle her dragon either. Ye saw how territorial she got when Tiernan's lass was close to ye. Bree is nay...quite...stable, lad, she bloody bit me for fuck's sake! He let out a soft breath and shook his head. What happens when she decides that Evie looked to closely at ye? I willnae put her in danger and thus...I cannae allow her to be around Bree any longer. Tis my right as her mate to keep her away from the lass but I donnae want ye to take it personally against ye or Bree. Tis just...being careful. He watched his brother carefully, not wanting this to cause a rift between them or cause problems within their relationship but he was really just looking out for his own mate. Bree had a tendancy to be over emotional, something most dragon women were far from being and it made him uneasy, especially with the extent of the powers she had. A low breath escaped his lips as he suddenly stood and headed over to where the whiskey was, pouring himself another drink. How did things get so complicated so quickly?
