I am generally ok with Ashley's more form fitting dresses, as these are what her body type looks best in. She's a curvy woman and looser things tend to hang straight down from the curves and make her look wider than really she is. The other morning however, she was wearing something mid thigh and too short IMO. I think this is probably what the OP is referring to. Overall I think she looks great though.
