Have you seen all the "Get Marty" promos they've been running? They've invested in him. He's not leaving.

I suspect this is an effort by Kristine to shorten an abnormally long work day. I assume she's in there around &;30 or 8 a.m. for "2Day," then stays for the noon and comes back for the 5 p.m. news.
