Subject: This is News??

One of the lead stories on WPXI right now is about two girls having a fight inside a restroom at Chartiers Valley High School. I guess one of them uploaded phone video which has gone viral.

Which leads me to ask....do you REALLY consider this to be news, WPXI? You mean to tell me that you can't find anything happening in the entire tri-state area that is more newsworthy than THIS? Talk about living up to your small market reputation.

When I was in high-school fights would happen at school all the time, and they never made the six-o-clock news. They were generally over a perceived slight or a failed romance. Over quickly and soon forgotten. Now they're news?

Not to mention how many high-school bathroom fights do you think are coming in the days ahead once the yutes figure out that clocking a classmate on Instagram can earn them their fifteen minutes of fame?

Shockingly irresponsible (and, I use the term loosely) news judgment. Don't school administrators have things bad enough already?
