Josh Getzoff, from Penguins website and tv/radio, has been calling Penguins rookie and preseason games and in my opinion he is doing a great job getting better every game. He has excellent chemistry with Phil Bourque already.

I predicted Steve Mears would get the next open Penguins play-by-play job well before he even left PensRadio 24/7 to go to NHL Network.

I make this prediction now: Josh Getzoff, if he decides to stick around, will be the leading candidate for the Pens radio PbP when Mike Lange retires. After Lange they don't need a big name hire or to make a splash for radio, they just need someone steady.
