This has been discussed here before. Madden is what he is. He is very light on sports knowledge of any kind. He is no Stan Savran. His shtick is to be a shock jock. It seems like they keep good reigns on him at the X. Even though what he says is cringe worthy, apparently it is allowed. The X must be reaping the benefits.

Sports talk in Pittsburgh is nothing like some other cities. The Fan is a disaster with a few Madden wannabees. The best is Savran but the lunch time hour with a weak signal isn't ideal.
