Subject: Bloombaddy

Happened to hear the last ten minutes of Bloomdaddy today (am not a listener), and he was bashing Loretta Lynn (am not a listener) for having been a dull interview subject. Maybe the poor dear doesn't understand that her granting an interview with a virtual nobody was an act of largesse and that a star of her magnitude saves her best reminiscences and anecdotes for a polished interviewer who can draw listeners. Bloomdaddy's childish ingratitude is typical of his rank (in each sense of the word) amateurishness and insecurity. The outburst about Lynn was one half of the first item in his dopey weekly tirade; the second was about bullying. Dramatic irony is the type by which a character unwittingly reveals things about himself that he himself is unaware of. Bloomdaddy should listen to himself.
