Oh...my...God. If I insulted you in front of my "friends" by implying you weren't "cool," then I also insulted myself, because until you pushed me to go talk to them, I never considered them my friends and vice-versa. I am NOW, so I thank you for helping me to break the ice.

The only other comment worthy of a reply was "you make me feel I have to change." This is the moment where I would slowly reach for your soft, delicate hands and while holding them firmly within mine, I would gaze into your eyes and speak calmly, but with utter sincerity that I never wanted you to change...I only wanted to help you change if you wanted to change.

It's easy for you to turn your back and never think of me again, but that's not the sort of thing I do. That is something that I will never change, because I know that circumstances can change; and weeks, months, or years from now, you might need someone to help you out of a difficult situation. Whether we are friends or not, if all the other doors you turn to are closed and locked, just know that mine will be open...for you.
