I cant remember anything you would say.
In such a short time,

*I liked having you around.*
I miss who you thought you were to me.
I miss your questioning face.
You being content on filling the void.
Even then I wanted to understand everything you'd claim.
To believe you saw a way,
because I couldn't
because I can't.

I wanted to believe there was a chance you might stay.
I knew.................
I knew better.

Just another stop along the way.

One of others I'm sure,
Even so... it was amusing to just be.

Still, I admired you.
Though not admiration to the point of being like you.
I just thought it might be fun to try relate to someone.

Damn.

No one wants to be lost and unfound.

Or even remotely alone.

I sit here with this stupid pen.

Thinking that one day something will come of it.
That'd you'd show up at the front door when I'm not expecting it.
Out of no where, just to say it.

So I can punch you in the face and say
"Where the hell have you been?!"
