Subject: Universal Reality, or Lack Thereof

Slipping further into dazzling pictures.
Bright eyes reflecting the
Mind's wishful thinking.

Sitting in a low crouch,
My head against my knees,
Listening to my breath accumulating
In the limited space between.

Time is just a simple part of my imagination
Through which I dance in an out,
Releasing silent giggles
After words that color familiar experiences.

Sitting still is so difficult,
And yet so comforting
When I'm at my wit's end,
Revolving around a fantasy
Playing beneath the surface
Of monotonous reality.

Singly dreaming,
Always conjuring up my multiple.

I hold the string around which my container spins,
And I travel the path according to the whim of the wind.

Dizzy, I may pause,
Wait to slide in a new direction,
And grasp at the silver sleekness
Of my sphere.
