Subject: Leg stretched out backward on guinnea chick

I adopted a guinnea chick that is dragging its left leg. It's trying to bend the leg straight. It's using its good leg and wing to hop or jump to eat and drink. Wondering if it sounds like splay leg or something else. It has not slipped or injured it as far as I'm told by the breeder. It started this way from day one.
