Reading your post I can only guess that this may be either the twisted tibia that you already suggest or a displaced Achilles tendon. I need to see a closeup clear photo of the hock joint in order to know what is wrong and consider the proper thing to do next. Photos can be put on a website such as villagephotos.com or photobucket then post link here or you can email them to me. It is important to treat all problems like this one right now or sooner.
