hey Idris - tell Tracey to come out of hiding sometimes!!

#1 again - totally my fault - when i changed my info online, i took it out of the car and never put it back - i actually thought about it the other day while driving down the highway but of course the card was nowhere near me - i've also been known to drive months without the expired card in my car - when i receive it in the mail, i think "i should go put that in the car right now" - and then i don't - and then when i think about it again, it's usually when i'n driving down the highway or at the grocery store - again, not one of those things that is high on my priority list

#2 - in Texas, when you renew your license or change the name, they allow you to keep your old license because it has the picture on it - they also cut off part of it so that people know you have a paper license that goes with it - the paper license is just that ... paper - it doesn't have a picture but it has all of your new info - i was taught to always give both because one has your picture and one has all your current info

i hope that clears it up - again, i'm not pissed about the ticket - i deserved it, so i'm okay with it - what i'm not okay with is the police officer being a jerk just because he could!
