You do know that Mary and her husband 'make their money' from the huge company they own that works with the coal industry, right? The pageant is a write off for them. They are fabulously wealthy, but not from the pageant. And while I don't like Joey, it's because I think he lacks the proper skills and credentials to do what he is doing, NOT because he doesn't have a real job and work for his money. I was seriously thinking of competing in our states Mrs. International pageant but after reading these posts I have a lot of questions about the sponsors. If I were to win, and if I don't use ANY of their sponsors, will it really affect my chances at the national pageant?
