That can add up when you exhaust your supporters after the 3 or 4th pageant. Plus all the wardrobe you are required to wear and purchase for competition. VERY expensive, but they have mom's and dad's to pay. Some of the younger MRS still have mommy and daddy to help them out, especially those who competed as young ladies and never won, but for the most part it is on the family of the woman competing to pay. If "everything" is God's plan, then why are there disasters, violence, famine, etc Yes, I have a relationship with God, so don't go there. I just think it is a shame when people give up trying and accept failure because they use the excuse that God didn't will it to happen. Opportunities opened for me, after my loss, when I let myself be open to him. If his plan for you includes a win it will happen. Violence happens because we have free will, God is there! He knows before we do and is there to be our comfort. He cannot stop evil, disasters, or famine but he can put a spirit in us that help us, as humans, come together in love for one another. You don't have to understand, maybe it is not for you to understand right now. But for me it is clear. You obviously only read what you wanted to read. Where did I say anywhere that anything was OUR fault? All I said was that EVERYTHING isn't God's fault. These posts are not from the same person. I made the post asking about why bad things happen if is god's plan, but I did not make the post about good things being from god and bad things not.
