Subject: Bad timing

My first thought about hearing that there would be no FC party was, "Thank God I didn't plan to go!" Hubby and I had originally contemplated going to Nashville for the party and the festival but we never followed through with the preparations. Doesn't it seem that his fans would have been privy to the fact that there wasn't going to be a party earlier than just a couple of months prior to the anticipated event? Don't you bet that this information could have been released before right now? And, although I guess with popularity many artists do stop having fan club parties, it just seems kinda poor timing to start changing any of his old habits. I'm sure that his people had to know that people would point fingers and associate this seemingly sudden change of plans with his new focus on his personal life. Some fans would feel hurt, some fans would get angry...It's really kinda hard to accept that Keith's growing up now...lol

Sometimes a star who is huge, has to pull away from those things. For instance, Kenny used to do these all the time, and meet and greets, but demand got too high and things would get outta control. It's a shame that a few unruly fans ruin it for everyone but hey it happens. Maybe Keith feels it is time to slow down a little. I hope this doesn't relfect how his fans feel about him, he is still an amazing man and performer, but he needs a break, his vouce has been strained and he is tired. I would rather see him rested then end up like Chris Cagle did. I don't know what hie people released, or how they did it, so I can't comment on that.
