Back in my room there were so many balloons and flowers and well wishes. Kenny loaded some things into our truck and went to take some stuff home, he would be right back he promised. They finally brought Aiden in, while we were bonding, Keith popped his head in. " Hey, do you mind?" he asked. " Come in, of course I don't mind,." I replied. He sat down next to me, to get a better look at the newest edition to the Chesney clan. " Can I hold h im?' He asked. I carefully handed him over and he beamed. He rocked him and shared a secret with me. He wants to settle down and do this. But he feared that his lady love was not into that. I told him to talk to her and be patient. He thanked me and kissed the baby and handed him back, he had some things he needed to do. Finally I had some alone time with my little boy.I held him and kissed and told him how loved he was. I was so happy. Kenny returned, and Aiden and I were fast asleep. He gently took him from my arms and placed him in his bed.He woke me up with a little kiss. "Hey" I said groggily. " HOw ya feeling?" he asked. "Good actually." I snuggled in closer to him. "He's perfect you know that?" "Thank you for all you have brought to my life, Kim." he said. At that moment little A began to whimper, "Alright buddy, daddy's here." Kenny changed him and sang him back to sleep. Two days later they let us loose with our newborn son. We took turns getting up with him, for the most part he was an angel but when he was hungry he could wail. Several weeks passed and we had a small welcome baby party. Keith and Kristin seemed very in tune with one another, she even held the baby. Poor Keith he loved her so much, I wondered if she knew how much.Our days were filled with the joy of our baby, and many moments of daddy and baby both asleep on the couch, Aiden loved to lay on Kenny's chest and sleep with his little thumb in his mouth. We adjusted to parenting quite easliy. I quit my job to be a full time mom, and wife. I loved it, I was there for every moment in his life. I had found my heart and my heart was so full of life and love. The men in my life took first priority and Kenny always made us his.

Now that would be a sight, me holding a baby. I've only held one when I was in nursing school. And I'm pretty sure I didn't do it right.

Hopefully I was sitting down when all this baby love was going on. Wouldn't want to drop Kenny Chesney's kid.
