Yes, You are right about B-103. Although I do not listen to B-103, I heard from people who do listen to it that they are playing less 50's and 60's and more 70's and 80's music. They best way to program an oldies station is with variety and a big playlist like WLNG. I must say one thing, Respect by Aretha Franlin is one of my favorite songs of all time and I never get tired of hearing it. I listen to it on my IPOD all the time but there are a lot of songs that were overplayed on CBS-FM durings its final years. When CBS-FM dropped oldies on 6/3/05, the stations playlist was 284 songs. The way to avoid songs that are overplayed again is to have a big playlist like WLNG.
