(He was distracted by the sudden appearance of Addie at his side that he didn't hear the conversation going on between his partner and the others, he had looked over at her and the fact that she looked so damn much like Shay had him feeling like he couldn't lie to her. That and pregnant women sort of brought out a protective feeling inside him that he couldn't ignore or deny, so he just sighed as though it was bothering the hell out of him that she had to be Shay-like and pregnant so he would just have to tell her.) She agreed to marry me. (He said in a low, defeated tone, as though she had beaten in out of him. His dark eyes wandered over her and then to his own hands in his lap. He wasn't really so sure he wanted to talk about this.. he just wanted Haylie.) (He narrowed his gaze at Jailynn for diming him out so quickly, though she didn't know about his job so he couldn't blame her. He shook his head when Dare started to move as though to protect her, raising his hand to stop him.) It's fine, you don't have to worry about us. My name is Jeremy, call me Remy though - and that black cloud is Kyrian, my partner. (He shook his head.) My work partner, Jailynn - wipe that smirk off your face. We work for the American government, a secret squad and we're here on assignment. I honestly didn't know you lived here, though I have to say it is nice to meet up with you again. I just have to ask that you keep this information between you, we can't let others know we're here and blow our cover.
