(How was she supposed to sleep when he disappeared like that.. after something completely out of the ordinary had happened between them. She'd lain propped up on her pillows, her back to the wall and a pillow laid in her lap, waiting for him to come back. She'd tried to analyze what had happened, but the fear of the moment was still too heady for her to get through, and seeing him with that anger in his gaze had startled her deep down. He couldn't deny now that he had fought great battles in his life, she'd felt a man fighting for his life when she'd had him over her. She'd smelled the fear and anger and felt the determined tension in his body and she'd no doubt in her mind that he had killed. Whoever had made him fight like that wsa no longer of this earth. Sighing, she had looked at the marks on her wrists, the outline of his strong hands, and tried to be angry with him.. but all she could be was scared for him. Looking up, she followed the sound of his movements through the apartment, to the bathroom adn then listened to the water rnning for a while. Then he had gone into the kitchen and she was gazing at the door as he appeared there.) It's okay, I'm awake. (She murmured, even though it was nearing sunup now.. it was like trying to sleep after severe weather.. there was just too uch on the mind.)
