Subject: Right. My dancer's birthday is in July, and her feis friends birthday is in June. Amazing how very often they are both placed in thee exact same split group, either both A or both B. Once heard of it done randomly, i.e., not split by birthdates.
In reply to: dancers don't usually have to pick, the feis does the split 's message, "Um, that's not always quite true... yes, a feis will usually split a group by birthdate, but depending on who is in the group, dancers with a birthday in the middle of the year might be an A or a B.
