Philadelphia has a lot of one-way streets. To get to the parking garage underneath the Kimmel Center, you can go up Broad Street toward City Hall (huge building with William Penn statue on top), turn left at the corner on which the Kimmel Center sits, go a couple of blocks and turn right (all streets are one-way in this section of town), go a couple more blocks and turn right again, then turn right on Broad Street. Just past the Kimmel Center's doors, there's a small driveway that is the entrance to the parking garage. (This makes more sense if you download the Kimmel Center's map - it shows the streets in the neighborhood.) We came up I-95 to the Broad Street exit (17), went up Broad Street for about 3 miles, and the Kimmel Center was on our left. It took just over two hours for us to get there. There's very little rush hour traffic coming into Philly from the south (I was surprised).

Adult wristbands are $30 and kids' are $10. I didn't see an ATM in the Kimmel Center. Parking was $12 ("early bird"). We spent about $12 on food (hot dogs, pretzels).

It sounds expensive, but it is SO worth it. As Meg said, some of the dancers are just unbelievably good.

We tried hard not to stare at some of the girls who were having their hair spray-painted to match their wig color...
