Because my opinion isn't the same as yours? LOL! Seriously, look at the facts first. Toyota is halting production because they haven't figured out the fix yet, and toyota dealers have been ordered not to sell dangerous inventory. The big 3, by comparison, never had to halt production because they were able to make running changes to repair existing problems. This is a huge publicity ploy to make toyota "look" concerned about customer safety. Why did it take from 2007 til now to act? Because they were hoping against hope that all this floor mat bullshit would go over and it didn't. Funny that the exact same toyota models that are having this problem here have been sold in Europe for three years without any trouble at all. All they had to do was compare engineering notes on the two markets, issue a recall, fix the American cars and be done with it. But they didn't. Now it's coming back to haunt them. I think most Americans will be able to see through the toyota smoke screen, and this will hurt toyota for the short and long term, IMO. So if my opinion differs then yours, just say so. But please don't say I'm wrong. Besides, I hate being wrong! LOL
