Sure a Beat Up Hollyhock Thread is fine. But it fits in here too. Hollyhock preach's ecology/sustainability but doesn't practice it. Mr Solomons Tides foundation has been funding lots of the activism here and Hollyhock openly supports it.

But Onto the Geoducks. If there's damage on beaches by Geoduck Harvesting where is it? I've heard it all before.
Only a Virtual Fraud would call it a Virtual Desert. A desert is not possible on the seafloor. Sealife continues to "swim by" "crawl over" and "dig itself in" after Geoducks are Harvested.

I suspect "A Virtual Desert" is a term developed by a "Highly Paid Wordsmith" to cause Malice and Create Public Hysteria.

If you got High Speed Watch the Video I posted a few threads up. Its a Sad story but a true reflection of our society and mirrors the Friends Of Cortes Community on Cortes Island.

Geoducks have been harvested on Cortes for 3 decades.
Its not a new industry, its here already.
So where's the damage? Thats all I asked?
Digging clams and Harvesting oysters are a way of life and a sustaniable economy.

Diversity is allowing every thing to thrive even people you don't like.
