Subject: Well Said Dr. Ellie thank you for your intelligent comments. I've competed with Diva mom's and it is sad when they portray them selves as a real mom in the trenches! The judges will only see what is presented to them and how well it is sold!

In reply to: Dr. Ellie 's message, "Yes, I know that you do. I said that everyone has their struggles and triumphs...but don't assume that just because we are moms and compete in pageants mean that we have a staff. After a host of health problems, I have concluded that everyone has their issues that they have to deal with. No one is immune. Women with children should not get bonus points, but they should not be chided either! If you haven't lived though a child with colic then you just cannote relate. I cannot help you there. I was blessed to have a perfect angel for the most part and it was hard. Harder than 1st year of an Ivy League Professional School. So I can understand where some women are coming from. But if you don't bring up children, then leave out all of the sob stories too. If Mrs. America is a "beauty" pageant like it claims to be then we should all be on an equal field. Wish I could be "naturally in shape", I have to work for it!" on 19:48:28 08/08/10 Sun
