Ann,

Let's clarify a few things,
1. I don't work in the office and I am not involved with anyone in the office.
2. I have been a season ticket holder from game one season one. Good times and bad. Far more losing seasons than Championship, in my seat every game.

You are so convinced that this group's sole purpose has been to shut this team down.

Why then did they court a new investor last year? Someone who is very devoted to the game.

Do you not remember the Gagnon years at all...players having problems getting paid, many of our strong corporate sponsors were so pissed off during the Gagnon 5 years that they won't even consider doing any type of sponsorship of the team. Years ago Treasure Bay was on of your biggest sponsors, remember the TREASURE BAY, TREASURE BAY chant that we used to do, well player actions back then under Potvin screwed that realtionship to Hell and Back, and word gets around. You also apparently don't know about the financial situation the team was in when Gagnon left, if anyone tried to run this team into the ground it was Jean Gagnon. The team was gone after year 5 if the new group hadn't purchased it.

You want to complain about the office staff. I've never had a single one of this group be anything but polite and professional, I can't say that for years past. Managing an enterprise of any type has it's restrictions both legal and financial, you do the best you can. I do not believe Yates or this group has done anything to intentionally harm our future, the economy is what it is. Company's are second guessing sponsorships not because they don't want to support the team but because they are having to make the decision of being able to make payroll or buy a board, which would you do?

Since Katrina, the office staff has actually had some experience unlike the years when Gagnon found every way not to have to meet payroll by having most of his staff being "interns" that didn't have a clue of what to do, experience counts.

Attendance, weeknight numbers always suck, our schedule this year sucked, blame the league, blame Augusta. Overall though this was a pretty respectible year attendance wise, I can't remember the last time we had 7000+ fans in the house, even with ticket giveaways, there was a time you couldn't hand someone a free ticket and have them show up. I saw that changing this year.

Take an honest look back. Have I been happy with the team's performance this year, not really, there have been good nights and bad. Would I be at a playoff game if they made it Hell YES, Will I be in my seat next year if we have a team HELL YES!
