TALENT WCU vocal and MC piano were technically WAY better than LLL or Jasmine. Liked LLL and Jasmine selections better last year. LLL is looking like a one-trick pony with holding out that last note on EVERY SONG SHE DOES. I'd like to see her try something else. I just wasn't feeling her. Seemed programmed and plastic. Jasmine was over the top...but considering who she is working with, that's expected. SWIMSUIT I would've chosen Conerly, but Harmon and Dale were great too. It's benign. Quit trying to make something out of nothing. It has nothing to do with Africa. DUH. BTW - I heard what they said to Winky, and all they said was that they didn't have their passes, and he waved them ALL in anyway. That sucks when he had just turned away someone's elderly grandfather. Either you have to have passes or you don't. Period. BOOM.

(Apparently, she was Miss Univ or bust....) Anyway, she did Miss University this year and finally won. Someone needs to tell her to stop with high voice. She sounds like she's trying to imitate a child. It's not attractive, and makes her come off like an airhead - when I don't think she is. But that Disney princess voice has got to go. She needs to listen to some powerful women speak, or even just spend some time listening to the former Miss America who is the emcee. THAT is the tone of an accomplished, educated woman.
