Elden moved as she confirmed the truck was unlocked, opening the door and folding the seat forward so he could get to the storage behind it. He pulled out the backpack that served as a first aid kit and a case of heavy duty zipties. He set the backpack in the bed of the truck, pausing by Des side to set a hand on her back "You'll be fine... just get it out and you'll feel better" He gave her a light pat on the back before moving towards jimmy. He roughly flipped the boy onto his belly, pulling both arms behind his back and crossing them at the wrist. Two zip ties secured his hands behind him, creating an X between the hands and pulled tight enough that the boy couldn't get free. It was better for them to be on their bellies anyhow, that way if they vomited while unconscious they wouldn't suffocate. He made quick work of securing the other two, still unconscious boys before moving back to her. "Better?" He reached into the backpack, pulling out a bottle of water. Twisting the cap off, he took a swig, swishing it around in his mouth and spitting the now pink water to the side. He offered her the bottle, knowing she'd want to rinse that taste out of her mouth even more than he wanted the blood gone. His side was starting to shoot lightening though his system, in every direction from the wound. He'd be hurting bad tomorrow, once the swelling had taken affect and the wound began to heal. Every movement would be like tearing a scab off, rebreaking the barely healed tissue. But for now he was worried about Des, about the battering she'd taken. He wasn't sure if that look in her eyes was shock, or possibly a mild concussion, and both had him worried. |
