|Storm clouds swelled in the distance over the lake, and low grumbles of thunder carried across the water to the ears of the man standing in the sand. He was leaning against the hood of a sleek black '71 Challenger, his thickly muscled arms crossed against the barrel of his chest and a cigarrette hanging loosely between his lips. Though the skies were darknening with the impending storm, sunglasses still shielded the man's gaze. Whitecaps began to form on the waters surface as the wind began to howl.

The man breathed the scent of the coming rain deeply. Fresh, cool, exhilirating. How he loved a good, nasty storm. It was really something to watch mother nature unleash her fury. It had been a long time since he'd seen a storm in such perfect clarity--he'd spent the past seven years embedded in the deep city of New York, and didn't hold a match to the pristine enviroment of this country.

He would stand and watch until the rain fell, and get on with the business ahead of him, however unpleasant as it might be. It was safe now, and tasks put off for far too long would need to be addressed. But for now, he was content to watch the fury.|
