Subject: I guess you have never been to Miss New Bedford/Miss Boston/Miss Cambridge where they dress as expected. I do not understand why things have changed so dramatically this year. Style one of the points of the crown. You dress for the job you want.

In reply to: 's message, "I'm from Mass, so please take my comment/question for what it's worth, but is a cocktail necessary for a local pageant? In New England weather, I think a pretty sweater dress and boots would be fine for a local pageant. Maybe not pants, but certainly a sweater dress that looks pretty and somewhat upscale should be ok, no? Also, are we talking about just local titleholders here? I ask because it seems like you mentioned 5 Miss States so I would assume the reference is to your reigning Miss State" on 12:41:19 01/05/15 Mon

Miss NH has a wardrobe allowance, this should not be an issue. (NT)No name14:52:59 01/05/15 Mon
Maybe now you could answer the question asked. If a girl is attending a local, why is she required to wear cocktail? (NT)No name04:42:02 01/06/15 Tue
