Subject: Great, here goes another piece of our freedoms. Ban daily drivers. What's next? Ban all restored white police cars, because white is too close to reality? Most current squads are white, remember? And you sure do forget that when the hobby started, most in the hobby started out with daily drivers that were then restored. But maybe you are not in the hobby and wouldn't know much about it?

And to Grainy's 20 year + comment: As much as I agree with almost everything he said, the age limit of 20 + years simply doesn't make sense. Tom W.'s '91 Crown Vic looks closer to a late 70s LTD than a '92 Crown Vic. I bet most folks think it's a much older vehicle anyway. The point is about modern looking cars aka '91 and newer Caprices, '92 and newer looking Crown Vics etc. etc. that closely resemble of what's in service currently across the country. And yes, freedoms include rights and privileges. Owning a police car is not a right, it is only a privilege which is lost due to irresponsible conduct. Banning daily driver's? Hmmm, maybe Bryan thinks daily drivers kill? And I think Bob had the best comment. Get authorized by the department you are displaying for or seek a letter of introduction, if you are not affiliated with an agency. Or better yet, get affiliated.
