Atumi expands his senses as the golden light begins to shine, focusing all his keen perceptions on examining Noni's energy. Unusually fine in texture but bold and molten, resembling in feel a tan's typical energy, rather than a black's. Nonetheless, there is quite some force behind the airy texture, and the male nods. "That was good," he affirms, eyes half-lidded in thought. Tans usually have it easy with controlling their energy due to the fine texture, but Noni has a black's strength and temper behind hers that makes it quite unique. Several moments of pensive silence pass before the pack second speaks.

"You have odd energy, mri'dyn. Once you begin honing and strengthening your mind and thus your control over it, you will be able to achieve a degree of deft expertise that most blacks cannot, but many tans can. However, initially it will be difficult to control... as you have seen... because of the force behind the fine texture. It is a strange combination you have, and you had best keep a keen eye out and have a steel-trap will when using it at first, lest you have another explosion." Atumi shakes his head with some amusement, a faint grin flashing across his muzzle. "I doubt any of my other students have the natural talent with energy that you exhibit, with one possible exception... but he's Erashun's pupil for now. Your lessons will be in private, separate from and in addition to your lessons with the group." Some compassion is quickly erased in the bright teal eyes as the black continues, "If you're willing to work harder than most to master this, I will teach you privately. If not, then you will wait until other of mri'dyn have attained your level."

Tew's eyes widen and his stage whisper is carefully shielded from Atumi. Mri'sou, if I were you, I'd take him up on this offer. But watch yourself... he'll work you into exhaustion. I can assure you it'd be worth it, but if you don't think you can keep up, then back down gracefully now, instead of failing later because of overconfidence. If you can make it, you won't regret it... The tan, still prone in the trees nearby, keeps an avid watch on the two blacks, narrow ears pricked.
