Hey Big Brother Tanner,

Great hearing from you so soon, and sharing some more
Ancestors History with us, and you say there is more to
come! NEAT! We love hearing about your Family, and in
some ways our Ancestors here who first came to settle
had some of the similar "hardships" yours did and had
to endure.

This is really COOL that Jesse and Wyatt will be the
Next Chapter in your Family History for the Ranch to
continue, etc.

WE found it interesting, and sorry that it happened,
that grasshoppers caused a bad year or years sometimes
destroying crops? That sounds something like that happened
on that TV show "Little House on the Prairie" show but,
we're not sure what time period that might have happened on the show. We do remember a few times that tornados "wrecked"
buildings/property, prairegrass fires happened because of lightening striking, and duststorms and other tragics came, too.

Don't have alot written down for "bad years" of crops,
weather, etc. for some of our ancestors. Some records
were never passed down as ancestors didn't think it
would be important to share with future generations,
and a few house fires destroyed some information that
would have been neat to preserve. At least not all
family photos of early ancestors were not lost, etc.

That is really COOL that a number of businesses that
were started in your area were started by ancestors, etc.
and still exit today with a diferent generation running
them. Connor's dad has his own insurance company? WHOW!
That means "cheap" rates for family members, right? Another
member owns their own hardware store? COOL! We like hardware
stores. Does this owner give customers who sign up a "REWARDS POINTS" Program and allow those points to assist
in discounts for purchases or give "free" products give aways?

You might be interested Big Brother Tanner, (Mark): I
was talking with my folks and they now tell me on my
Mom's side of the family my great-grandmother had a
brother who became a horticulturist (I think I spelled this wrong but, hope you know what I'm talking about) and he
had a buddy who experimented "creating" different kinds of
apples, etc. I wonder if he knew about Johnny Appleseed?

We are pressed for time to talk more, but we are VERY
INTERESTED in hearing more you say you have to share about
writing about your Ancestors Settling, and we hope we can
compare some of ours who came before us "farming" here,
too.

Of interest we just learned, the Old General Store that
we mentioned previous where some of our ancestors shopped
at is an underground tunnel has been "discovered/uncovered"
in the basement, and it is being looked into possibly it
might have been an Underground Railroad stop, maybe, but
nothing has ever been recorded of any existing in this
area before now but, previous owners who operated the store
during the l860s could have had one as they were BIG Republicans and supporter of Pres. Lincoln & his Administration!

WHOW! History being uncovered today!

Later...
