As I pointed out previously, Joe Dante was the first to point out that COAM (the Conservation of Angular Momentum) is what produces clubhead speed and consistency.

The very angle you are trying to hold is what ultimately over comes and whips the clubhead through the ball, this is how Moe's swing speed goes from 30 MPH to over 100 MPH in one frame on a video tape.

You can also have COAM with a hand and arm swing (Moe is a body swinger, say's so himself on the Journeyman tape), but you have to use a more passive Ernest Jones type loosey-goosey pendulum type swing to achieve it.

That certainly isn't what the Original NG was all about!

I prefer to use the old method, as currently taught by Tom Sanders of Big Grip Golf (former top NG instructor) which teaches you how to hold that angle into impact!
