Subject: QUESTION about being PM

I am not familiar with the constitution of PNG. Does the Prime Minister have to have been born in PNG to hold office? How about his deputy?

I was thinking that perhaps if some one from the outside who is of good moral character and well educated could take over this position for one or two terms maybe he could break the cycle of one back stabbing PM after another hiring all his village friends and screwing the people of PNG over and bring some order to the government. He would not be a PNG insider with his good buddy following has you now have it. A good strong leader would tell everyone in government service to either get off their butts and earn their paychecks or take a hike.

If a western outsider could be elected to this position what would his life expectency in PNG be?

:)
