Subject: 24 contestants. A few changes. They actually turned away some girls because 24 was all they could house. Who knows? Betta worked her tail off to get new faces to the competition and the directors are willing to help the at large girls. It was really positive and will be a good competition.

[> [> Subject: I 100% believe that they didn’t have more than 12 host homes and they turned some of the willing to pay’s away. I also agree that Betta has worked her butt off as Miss Ohio in every possible way. She’s been a far better Miss Ohio than Steven and crew deserve. I love the changes and seems Miss America is moving back to 1.0 (so pretty, thin, smart and talented wins). Hopefully Steven will be gone soon along with his shenanigans. Let’s be honest though, it’s going to be a T5 of MOSP vets just like always. At least 7/10 of T10 will be vets. None of the willing to pay’s will place unless they are also willing to pay for people’s choice too. Ultimately the vet that wins will be Steven’s handpicked winner and it probably won’t be either of the two that will age out.

[> [> [> [> Subject: If Steven wasn't picking it would be Jayleen because she is the best in all areas of competition and still a vet. Sadly since she was MOV and she has a personality and opinion I don't think Steven wants her so I think it will be Madison or Via. I'd have said Madison 9 mos ago but Via has worked really hard this year to turn herself into her own version of Betta so it might be her. I think her family has deeper pockets too. She's also been making a ton of connections this past year.

I hope the girls that are good but somehow fall short year after year will give it up after this year unless we have a change in state leadership. Don't bother going to Volunteer either. After seeing most of their girls come back here (except the blackballed two) I'm guessing the grass isn't greener.

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: You’re spreading misinformation to push your bias against Volunteer. Saying most Volunteer girls have come back to MO is false, so it’s invalid to surmise they've rejected Volunteer.
Of the 8 Vol contestants, you say two were blackballed at MO. That may be true for Emily Fields, but Ava chose to leave the MAO bc she knew everyone was cheated in 2021.
That leaves 6 girls. Caroline can't 'come back' bc she's never competed at MO- 5. Rachel R and Alexis Miller aren’t competing at MO- 3.
So ONE girl from Volunteer is a retuning MO veteran- Ivy and she strikes me as just liking to compete in pageants, rather than choosing sides.

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: The grass IS greener at Volunteer. Can promise you that. The girls that jump back and forth are jumping when they think it would be "easy" to win. The girls who actually care about a program will stay where they feel their values align, no matter what the system is.

[> [> [> [> Subject: "This competition is anyones game..." is exactly the perception SO wants. The new scoring makes it much, much easier to coverup manipulation of results. We just saw him do this less than a month ago at Cleveland. The Cleveland ED posted on a LED board that he interjected himself into the auditors duties and instructed them to award the titles HIS way.
