Subject: Even if Ava stumbled in her talent, she still blew Brittney away with her talent. Playing the flute is medium difficulty and it’s not hard to tell how great of a dancer she is and how hard her routine is. Ava was consistent in everything, even OSQ, which leads me to think she would continue that consistency in the interview room.

In reply to: 's message, "Whether this year’s T10 was better is irrelevant although I’d strongly disagree but I’m guessing you made T10 and didn’t last year but that’s off topic. Ava is the better overall contestant and with all areas being 25% unless Ava fell when she was dancing she would have blown Britney away in 3/4 of the scored areas of competition. This seems as rigged as Miss Ohio. I wonder why Veronica dislikes Ava. That can be the only reason." on 19:35:11 09/20/22 Tue

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: You don't have to be a judge to know a girl's interview style. People know how girls interview, especially a former MAO girl. They record their interviews at state, the EDs either record or sit in on their interviews, and the local EDs talk.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: That 'nationally known interview coach' may have made her come across as over processed? Maybe she didn't click with the judges? Maybe it just wasn't her day? Maybe she did just fine but others really shined? Maybe Brittney had the interview of her life? Maybe Brittney can interview off the back of her hand & it shows? What ever qualities Volunteer wants in a titleholder- advanced education? professional degree? top-tier school? able to fund or fundraise her national competition prep? involved parents or independent women? approachability or on a pedestal?, Brittney was ranked as having the right combo that night.

There were 14 at Sweetheart; 11 at Vol. She did very well at each. She's a good competitor.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: For the life of me, I've never understood why girls think floor work is impressive. I don't know dance but figure if you can't dance, roll around on the floor, right? The dirty, dirty floor. ~shiver~ If a dancer can't go to the floor and get to her feet flawlessly, if it's clumsy in any way, it's disappointing.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: No, it was a point that even if she did she’d have won talent regardless of a stumble. She’s an amazing dancer and did not stumble that night and to the person talking about floor work, you clearly know nothing about dance.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: I know way more than you think I know. Pageants are not the place to showcase floorwork. Pageant judges cannot appropriately judge the difficulty. You cannot perform a "dance competition" dance at a pageant and expect to be judged properly. Most pageant judges do not even realize how difficult dance is. All they know is that if you can leap or jump high and spin/turn without falling over that it is difficult.
