I really liked Taylor’s spoken word piece, it’s actually the first one I have ever liked at a local and her gown was stunning! Also, the pianist, Madeline, was very good and entertaining; I thought Emily sang very well but was a little surprised that she ended up winning talent.
Agree about Baylee Jo’s hair, not trying to be mean, she is stunning as a blonde and the red is too harsh on her.

[> Subject: Madeline played her own arrangement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I could not pick up the tune in her playing at all. She was pounding the lower register pretty hard at the end and it sounded all over the place. They just announced the age change, so she's probably not been playing and the condition of the piano could be a factor. In her introduction they said she won the classical talent award?? at Miss Indiana either in 21 or 22, so not to be underestimated.

[> [> Subject: I really liked Taylor's spoken word as well. True emotion. Emily has a nice voice and sings well but you can tell she doesn't know the language bc the smoothness isn't there. Her song selection leaves a lot to be desired for entertaining. I found myself getting bored as it went on. She needs work in presentation too, but it was certainly good enough to win talent.

[> [> [> Subject: Caroline needs a speech coach and some wardrobe guidance. The summer weight mini skirt jumper with the deep V neck was too casual for interview and looked too flimsy on stage. The heavy-heeled, clunky platform shoes were horrible. She's short-legged and her gown was 3 inches too short which made it even more noticeable, and it didn't fit. It's only a local but that dress hurt her. Her voice is very high pitched and she would have a hard time winning a state pageant without serious work on her voice.

[> Subject: Ivy is a naturally pretty girl, but is invisible on stage. She needs her eyebrows, eye lashes, and lips defined. You show personality on stage in your facial features, so with the no makeup she just fades away. The cream eg did nothing for her imo. It was structureless with thin fabric, hung loose at the waist, the cut of the spaghetti strap top is too teen and it was too short, so you saw those clunky shoes. I feel this gown is not enough, even for a local.
