Subject: Do you realize of the 4 open locals in 2021- A/C, Clayland, Maple City, & North Coast- there were only TWO recruits without a connection to the MAO? Lynsey Stonebraker and Mozie Ann van Raaij and they were both from the fair queen circuit and knew Lora. So while it may look like Covid was a factor, they had 2 years to recruit!! The problem is the same as it's always been-- Akron Canton quit because of the long term corruption. I heard the reason they decided to hold their pageant last year was because they already had paid the deposit on the venue & had scholarship money.
