Subject: You are really a piece of work! ERL has disordered eating. Idk if that is still an active problem for her now but it was her platform at one time and will always be an issue. I hope that you look like a supermodel! Otherwise you have no room to talk about her weight, her eye, her makeup, her wardrobe or her posture. All those comments are not helpful to her and it’s all disguised as a compliment on how she’s performing. Stop tearing girls apart!

In reply to: 's message, "Emma Rose Lewis: In reviewing Steven’s pictures, it looks like she lost some weight and she looked so much better at North Coast! I think she just needs an evening gown that hides her drooping shoulders. The emphasis is really on that with a one-shouldered gown. Additionally, if she lost a little more weight a fitted beaded gown --- with padded shoulders or something to make them look wider at the top would be a big help. If she loses more weight it will improve her arms too. (Don't tell us size doesn't matter anymore. You know it does!) Her make up looked spot on! If there is a way to pull the eye that turns in out, that would be the only thing she could do. I think she has a real shot at the state crown. She is improving!" on 12:44:12 08/26/22 Fri

[> [> [> Subject: This is a positive post from someone believing she can win if she works at what matters & face it, in MA size does matter proven by the fact that not one plus sized girl has been crowned & they were shut out of T5 at MO this year. This is decent advice. The gown could work if she trained to keep her shoulders rolled back & down. Reframing her eyeliner & tweaking her brow so her arch matches her eye shape will open up her eyes. The halter style black dress she wore for introductions is really flattering on her. It balances her shoulders & minimizes her chest area, solving the posture issue, while it draws the eye to her face > which she has the face for. (She's the rare person whose face is symetrical enough to where she can part her hair in the middle and actually look good.) Some crafty shading with Sally Hanson leg makeup on the backs of her arms would be slimming. Every girl should use makeup, hair style/color, & wardrobe to make the most of who they are!

You're assuming the poster knows Emma's challenges. I thought her platform was sexual assault awareness.

[> [> [> Subject: I wrote the above post after watching Emma at state & enjoying her. Seeing Steven's photos at North Coast, I could see she looked so much better (changing her talent dress & hopefully a song that was more entertaining & she could handle, and she looked much better. The gown she chose was not flattering to her figure. This is a beauty pageant. Don't say beauty isn't judged. It is in every category. I didn't know she had an eating disorder. If true, she shouldn't subject herself to pageantry. This is a discussion board. If girls put themselves out there (by entering) they are allowed to be discussed. I do think Emma has a good chance of doing well at Miss Ohio and I still think a gown to balance her figure, some eye make up, & a totally different headshot would get her up there.
