Subject: The pageant will appear legit on paper and MA doesn't care if a sponsor dips her in gold, so where does that leave the contestants who were cheated? You have lots of verified conjoined activity by Lora and Jeff, which looks unfair and honestly, quite creepy in that a 54 yo unmarried man is so involved with a 20yo girl. Dig into that 'special relationship' and why he's running her nonprofit out of his house, rather than her parents running the show.

In reply to: ... 's message, "#6 Shantel Krebs MA Interim Pres & CEO says it's perfectly acceptable for a state sponsor to personally sponsor a contestant financially. That doesn't make sense to me as Jeff could threaten to pull his $4,500 in sponsorship dollars if Steven didn't pick his special girl. Jeff could also sweeten the MO general fund by sponsoring her People's Choice win and covering all of her prep costs for Miss America so the board doesn't have to. This is where the view of "buying the title" comes from. So the "it's not fair he spent twice as much as she won to promote her to Miss Ohio" argument means nothing to Miss America." on 15:12:23 07/07/21 Wed
