Here in the South, Many School Districts still use Corporal Punishment, and it's not uncommon for Faculty Members (both Teachers and Principals) to get students, usually boys, to sign the paddle after they get spanked with it.

My Principal in High School had a paddle hanging on his wall that had signatures all over it. It was hanging up in plain sight where you could see it anytime you were in the office. Because my parents no longer allowed us to be paddled at school after my incident in Seventh Grade, I was fortunate to have never felt that paddle on my butt. Although there was a gag picture of me in the Annual posing bent over his desk while he was posed with that paddle in his hand looking like he was gonna paddle me. With two other girls to the side looking over their shoulder at the camera rubbing their butts like they'd been paddled. We were all smiling for the camera. The three of us worked as Office Aids in our Senior year. After the photos were taken he did give me a playful pat on the butt with that paddle, then asked us each to sign it and we did. Even though it was never used on me for real, I saw that paddle several times whenever I was working in the office and even recognized a few of the signatures on it, including my then boyfriend (now husband) Mark. Thinking back, I don't remember seeing too many girl's names on it other than former office aids. I know my best friend Ramona got paddled by him once. She got two licks and told me it hurt like hell, but she didn't sign the paddle when he asked her. She just said "No sir" took the note he gave her to take home and walked out of the office crying. It was done after School and I was waiting for her in the Reception Area in the Office. As moral support. She came crying out of the office and straight into my arms for a hug. Ramona was coming home with me that day because her Momma had to take her sister to the doctor so as we walked home, I asked her, "Do you think you'll get spanked at home?" She said, "Probably, because the last time I got in trouble at School, Daddy told me next time I get in trouble at School, he was gonna take off his belt and whip my bare butt." When we got to the house, Momma saw Ramona had obviously been crying and asked what was wrong. She told her she got paddled by the Principal and what for. Momma asked if I had gotten in trouble too and I told her no. Momma fixed us a snack and sat with us while we ate at the table. She asked, "Did it hurt much Sweetie?" and Ramona said, "Yes Momma (she calls my Momma "Momma" too) the paddling hurt like crazy". Then she stood up and raised up her heavy wool skirt and pulled her panties down in back and asked if her butt was bruised. She wasn't bashful about Momma seeing her bare butt since and was practically family and she had been spanked by her on a few occasions along with me. I said, "It's pretty red but don't look too bad." and Momma gave her a pat on the butt and said, "It don't look too bad Baby, I don't think you'll have any bruises. She pulled her panties back up and said, "Yeah, I guess it's a good thing Momma talked me into wearing it today for pictures." Momma asked if she was going to be in trouble at home and she said, "Daddy told me he would whip my bare butt next time I got in trouble at school. So I guess so." After we finished our snack, we went to my room and did our homework. We were hanging out after we finished when her Momma called to let Ramona know she was home. She asked me to come home with her and even though Momma was a little hesitant she because she likely to get spanked, she let me go to spend the night with her. I gathered my stuff up, kissed Momma and thanked her and then left with Ramona. When got to her house she asked if it was ok for me to spend the night and of course her Momma said yes. After I got settled in, she told her Momma she'd gotten in trouble at school today and gave her the note. Her Momma frowned and asked, "How many licks did you get?" Ramona said, "I got two licks". She just signed the note and talked to her for a minute in front of me. She said, "I ought to blister your butt young lady, but your Daddy already said what he was gonna do the next time you got in trouble at school." When her Daddy got home about an hour later, she showed him the note apologized and he just said, "We'll talk about after dinner." Nothing was ever said about it until later that night. We were in her room. We were both dressed in nightshirts and panties dressed for bed, ready for a night of gossip, iced tea and popcorn, and her Daddy knocked on her door, asked if we were decent and came in. He seemed pretty serious and told her, "Young Lady, I told you the next time you got in trouble at school, I was gonna give you a whippin', didn't I?" She was starting to tear up and said, "Yes daddy." I asked, "Do I need to leave the room?" She looked at me kinda of scared and shook her head no mouthing "Please no." She didn't want me to leave. He just said, "No hon, you don't have to go. It's not like you've never seen her get spanked before." Then he told her to pull her panties down and lay across the bed, and started to take off his belt. Honestly, I think I was as scared as she was. She had never been whipped with a belt before and started crying as he was taking it off. She pulled her panties down and lay across the bed as he folded the belt, holding it in both hands. I saw her butt still had the faint marks from her earlier paddling and the smack her Momma gave her. While she was laying there shaking and crying I noticed she slipped one hand under the covers on her bed reaching towards me, and I slipped my hand under the covers too and she grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight. Her Daddy was still standing behind her holding the belt with both hands and asked, "Are you ready?" She was pretty choked up and practically whispered "Daddy please" and squeezed my hand tighter. Then he grinned at me and winked and he snapped the belt twice. The snapping sound was so loud, Ramona and I were both startled by it. Then he gave her two sharp smacks by hand on her bare butt. She sat up in the bed with a confused look on her face and still crying said, "Daddy?" he smiled and said, "That was just to scare you little lady." Then he said, "You're seventeen now, and nearly grown and that's way too old to be acting up like this at School. Next time this happens, I will give you a whippin' for real. Do you understand me?" She got up off the bed and gave him a big hug and said, "Yes Daddy." Then sat down on the bed with me. He gave us both a kiss on the head, smiled and said, "I'm turning in early tonight, I gotta work tomorrow and need to get some sleep. Then told us both goodnight. After he walked out the door, we both dried our eyes and breathed a huge sigh of relief. She lay across the bed and pulled up her nightshirt (she hadn't pulled her panties up yet) and she asked me if her butt looked any better. I told her, "Well other than the two big red handprints from where your Daddy smacked it, it looks ok. Then I gave her a few playful smacks on her bare butt. She laughed said, "Ow" and then said, "you little bitch" pushed me over face down, pulled my panties down and smacked my bare butt a few times then started tickling me. We were both laughing and carrying on, poking and tickling each other and spanking each other's bare butts. Then heard a knock at the door and heard her Momma say, "Keep it down in there girls, Daddy's trying to sleep, don't make me come in there." We giggled and in unison said, "Sorry Momma". So we quietly went back to our gossiping and giggling.

Sorry I got off track while I was responding Sweetie. As I was typing my response to the thread, this memory just popped into my head. Back to the subject now.

I guess that whole tradition of signing the paddle that you got spanked with at school is some kind of weird if not sado-masochistic rite of passage for the (usually male) Students.
