You say you weren't punished in front of them, but did they know about how the two wives were punished?
Were the wives also entitled to punish?
How did this affect the relationship between the children and the wives?

As to myself, in light of my experiences in Ireland at home, in church, and with my employer, I - unlike some others, I suppose - really had no interest in getting together with a man who thought I should be subject to his physical authority. So my late husband and would freely propose imaginative fantasies to each other in the erotic context and act them out if we were both turned on by them, which would sometimes involve spanking scenarios, but nothing beyond that.
