 My wife was raised with strict discipline, where spanking was NOT a punishment of last resort. She didn't like the frequent and sound spankings she got as a girl (what kid would?), but she grew to appreciate them as a young adult. Fortunately, she didn't hesitate to enter into a DD relationship when we got married. It has worked well for us for more than forty years!
