Dalamar grimaced as she applied the bandage, as the medicine began it's work. He finally was able to stop the flow of tears, and guessed what she thought the tears were for. "These are not tears of pain, although I appreciate your bandaging. They are tears of... of happiness. I have never really been excepted among other elves. I don't know why. It may be because of my dark features. But they never really welcomed me. I have lived among them. Alone. I never went to the feasts, the parties, the celebrations. You, Alhana and Enlavindel are really my only friends. I cried because I had finally found some friends. It was a good fight though. I didn't know if I could pull that off. And that move of yours was very good too. You fight very well. Someday I plan to travel to train to be a warrior. And I'm guessing that you are too." He settled comfortably against a large tree, leaning against it. He stroked one of the roots, as an owner might pet a favorite cat and sighed deeply. There was content in that sigh, and happiness. But also there were traces of sadness, and of denial. He spoke again. " Um... until the house is done, where do we sleep? Among the trees?"
