In reply to: Trini77 's message, "Miss World T&T 2012???" on Tuesday, March 27, 06:23:35pm

...Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2012 will be on June 16th 2012. This gives the winner basically one month to be 'trained'. This is going to be a disaster if Ian Lee is NOT the new MW franchise holder. Basically, the MWT&T2012 winner needs to have previous pageant training if she expects to even have a mild chance of making the finals. The ONLY previous competitor that I can think of in the recent past who meets the MW criteria is Renee Bhagwandeen. Apart from that I am pretty sure Shinequa M. Francis could probably do a decent job but if she plans to compete at Elite Model Look 2012 then no way is Christopher Nathan going to allow her to compete at either the MW or MU finals for 2012 as he will not want to hurt her chances at securing an international modelling contract.

MWT&T 2012 training aside, I hope the late crowning is a sign that both franchises and under the same umbrella.

All I can say to Ian Lee, considering Shinequa M. Franis will not be available this year, please make a strong appeal to Soowan Bramble to compete. She would be a SOLID contender for a top 10 spot at MU. I don't want to see any more La Toya Woods or reps. to MU under 5'8".

1. our MW2012 rep. has already been appointed
2. Ian Lee is the new franchise holder for MWT&T and
3. Our rep. to both MU2012 and MW2013 will be selected on June 16th 2012.

Additionally, I have to say quite frankly that I wish Soowan Bramble would screen for the MUT&T title this year.
