I am happy to hear this as it means greater financial stability for the MUTTorg. Additionally, both Peter Elias and Ian Lee will still have some input. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they have appointed the MUTT2012 rep. already because there is basically no time to train a rep. if they choose to pursue a conventional screening process. Valene Maharaj and Shinequa Fernandez are the two that come to mind when I think of appointing a rep. Lee Ann Forbes needs to get a boob job and come back for the 2014 edition of MUTT if she is intent on pursuing that goal. Shinequa Francis would also be a spectacular rep. for MU but I suspect she is going to do well at the Elite World Finals later this year,so that would spell the end of her beauty pageant career. Obviously they would not have finalised the specific date for the final but Mr. Ackin has already made it clear that there will be only ONE (1) screening in the first week of September with the final most likely in the last week of September. With only about 6-7 weeks to train before departure for MU, I have to confess that I want Valene Maharaj to screen. Unlike Gabby, Valene was always the MU diamond that had to go to MW. Given the very short timeline they will have to crown someone who is ready to compete. For MU2013 they can crown someone with the best potential but for MU2012 - there is no choice - the young lady who is ready should go to the international event in December 2012. Yes Lee Ann Forbes may turn up to screen, but I have to confess that after seeing how very thin she appeared to be at MW, I would not expect Lee Ann to place unless she got a boob job. Additionally, I think Lee Ann should wait 2 or 3 more years to see if her body "fills out" more naturally before attempting a go at MU. Valene is very slim when in competition form but I never thought she looked anorexic. I am expecting Shinequa Fernandez for MU 2013. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
