Subject: Miles I wish I could send you that ray of hope that you desperately seek...but I can't. I am struggling to be patriotic and objective at the same time. Some may say that beauty is subjective, but there are objective standards. I wish the girl all the best but in the end it is a beauty pageant and she falls short, especially in Miss World where the winners are undoubtedly stunners. Can she attain the success of Agbani Darego Nigeria 2001 or be the stellar beauty from France Véronique Caloc 1998 or even Micaela Reis Angola 2007? Methinks not! I dont know what makes this new franchise holder think that Miss World is a Miss Intelligence Pageant. Look at last years Miss World. She could not even talk properly, yet she won the title. Why, because she was beautiful. This guy is going to get a rude awakening as you said Miles. Trinidad and Tobago has been doing so good then to have this new guy take over and ruining it. Most of the girls in the pageant this year was no where close to being beauty queens. There was only a couple of them who had any chance. The best was the first runner up Chenelle Maloney. She should of won it. I am sure she would of definitely been noticed and do Trinidad and Tobago proud again. Even some of the girls who was not in the top three were far better. Like Sunita Dairam and Nadiege Honore. The judges messed up big time and so did the franchise holder. When they screen girls next time beauty should always be first. Ashanna is going to get lost in the crowd at Miss World. I almost rather not being represented if this is the type of girls this new franchise holder is going to send. He seems to not have a clue what is required to win a "BEAUTY" pageant. This is like taking 100 steps back from Valene and Gabrielle. What a total waste of money and time with this girl.
