Athaliah Samuel.

I was casually reading Global Beauties.com when they announced who Miss World Trinidad and Tobago was. Now though I am not sure how competitive she will be. We must stand by our representatives who put themselves forth to promote us on the international scale.

She is unattractive dried up and hard looking also, those Fake eyes are just horrible …and most importantly, she looks like one of Rupaul Drag Queen…. Such as big shame!!!

It's such a shame that you are unable to articulate your point in a constructive manner, choosing to use the anonymity of the internet to be rude and hostile. I get it you don't find her appealing to your taste and that's fine but the manner in which you wrote your point suggests to me that you have some inner darkness inside, a darkness that makes you less attractive to people. If I were you I would remedy that before opening up to speak again.

Considering the MW2012 pageant kicks off in July and March is about to end I would have to say that either we will NOT be participating in the international event this year OR our rep. has already been appointed.

In either case I hope to hear that Ian Lee is the franchise holder of both the MW and MU franchises.

If our MW rep. was appointed then I am thinking one of these is our 2012 representative: Anna Rosa Banfield, Shinequa Francis, Kristy St Rose, Shinequa Fernandez OR Renee Bhagwandeen.

...Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2012 will be on June 16th 2012. This gives the winner basically one month to be 'trained'. This is going to be a disaster if Ian Lee is NOT the new MW franchise holder. Basically, the MWT&T2012 winner needs to have previous pageant training if she expects to even have a mild chance of making the finals. The ONLY previous competitor that I can think of in the recent past who meets the MW criteria is Renee Bhagwandeen. Apart from that I am pretty sure Shinequa M. Francis could probably do a decent job but if she plans to compete at Elite Model Look 2012 then no way is Christopher Nathan going to allow her to compete at either the MW or MU finals for 2012 as he will not want to hurt her chances at securing an international modelling contract.

MWT&T 2012 training aside, I hope the late crowning is a sign that both franchises and under the same umbrella.

All I can say to Ian Lee, considering Shinequa M. Franis will not be available this year, please make a strong appeal to Soowan Bramble to compete. She would be a SOLID contender for a top 10 spot at MU. I don't want to see any more La Toya Woods or reps. to MU under 5'8".

1. our MW2012 rep. has already been appointed
2. Ian Lee is the new franchise holder for MWT&T and
3. Our rep. to both MU2012 and MW2013 will be selected on June 16th 2012.

Additionally, I have to say quite frankly that I wish Soowan Bramble would screen for the MUT&T title this year.

Did anyone look at the Digicel 4G network launch at the Trinidad Hilton this week?

There were about 7 or 8 models with phones onstage and I have to say that the 2 tallest were standouts and they both dwarfed Soowan. Those 2 could own a stage. I wish they would screen. Apart from those I would like to see Shinequa Alexander (with a boo job), Shinequa M. Francis and Soowan at a screening. I am sure about Shinequa M. Francis' ability to shine at MU or MW. S. Alexander is deinitely a stunner who could do very well at MW with its fast track system, but I am concerned about the small boobs for MU. I would have to see Soowan in action before I make a final call on her competitiveness for an international pageant.

I hope Ian Lee crowns our MUT&T rep. before the end of July. If either Sinequa screens, she should be sent to both MU and MW if possible within the same pageant year.

I hope Ian Lee and his team imposes a strict height minimum of 5'7" on all finalists for the Miss Universe TT title - if a young lady is one-quarter inch shorter she should not be a finalist.

I don't know what the heck is taking place with Miss World TT but I have to say that I wish the MW and MU titles were held by ONE franchise holder.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that screenings are announced in the first week of May.

...I am wondering if Ian Lee is going to have a very late crowning this year. I think this would be a mistake unless he has confirmed at least one very competitive lady with previous training is going to screen a.k.a. Shinequa Fernandez or Shinequa M. Francis. It would be surprising if Valene Maharaj turned up to screen but I am thinking Shinequa Fernandez is a good (not necessarily strong) possibility. I just wish Ms. Fernandez had a couple small implants because she tends to look a bit flat chested.

Whoever is the new fanchise holder for MUJ, they have drastically improved the standard from last year. There are are actually 2 that I think could go to MU to compete. Amanda Mitchell in my opinion could make top 5 at MU and to a lesser extent Danisha Scott (who has a great body) could nail a top 20 spot.

I am hearing nothing about T&T with respect to MU or MW 2012. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will actually compete this year at both competitions. Soowan Bramble could possibly do some damage at either MU or MW. Shinequa Fernandez looks like a MW glamazon. I am actually wondering if AnnRosa will just be sent to MW (I think she would be a great Miss Earth/International rep.).

Lee Ann Forbes looks like she has caught the MU bug but she needs to get a boob job if she plans to be MUTT.

Anyways, I have to tell the local franchise holder to take a look at what J Lo wore a couple of weeks ago to an awards show. That is how you dress a rep. to MW or MU who is shorter than 5'9".

This is Ian Lee's 3rd year and I am hoping they finally get a placement at MU this time around. He is obviously serious about T&T doing well at the pageant but he needs to stop just listing to the same small circle of people. Yes MU is political but that did not stop Margot, Wendy or Arlene from making top 10 on merit.

Just send a stunner and get the gown and interview prep. right. I think Gabby could be a great asset in terms of interview prep.

Additionally, they need to just crown a sexy rep. and not someone who has to act sexy - No one really likes the latter!

...will represent Trinidad and Tobago at Elite Model Look 2012...in my opinion she will probably NEVER be a MT&T. To be blatantly frank, I think she has the best SS body and look I have seen since Wendy. She would have been a top 5 fav. for the prelims of MU looks-wise.

Ian Lee screwed himself when he shafted Jenna Marie Andre for the 2010 pageant.

MU2011 taught us an important lesson. I don't care how beautiful a young lady is... if she is below 5'7" (even by one quarter inch) she should not be MUTT - PERIOD! Considering our nation's size, we should crown someone who is at least 5'8".

As for the MWTT, no one below 5'6" should represent us at that international event.

I am hoping closed door screenings are held and only ONE very competitive rep. is chosen for the 2012 editions of MW and MU.

Considering MW kicks off in July, I am hoping Shinequa Fernandez screens.

....needless to say, although I am very disappointed that Shinequa Francis will not rep. us at MU or MW this year, she is such a stunner that I think she will do very well at Elite Model Look World 2012.

I have absolutely no idea if we will have a MW 2012 rep. but I am hoping that the frachise changes hands. That being said, it seems from posts that MW is already confirmed for July 2012 before the start of the Olympics. If this is the case I would be surprised if MU takes place in the same month (I am very interested to hear what MU0rg will say on Dec. 15).

For the 2012 cycle (assuming we will send both a MU and MW rep.) I just would like to request that we send ladies who are at least 5'10" in height. With respect to Miss Universe TT, I am hoping Shinequa Francis is selected and Christopher Nathan does not funnel her away into the modelling world. Shinequa's FB page says she is 5'8" but I don't think this is accurate since she appeared taller than Renee Bhagwandeen (5'9") in last year's competition and she completely dwarfed Gabby by at least 4 inches. I have to admit that it is very rare that we get a gem such as Shinequa Francis in a pageant. She could pull off VERY high SS and EG scores at MU if the judges and MUorg officials are fair. Additionaly, I have to say I see no need for plastic surgery - just quite a bit of gym work. She is a diamond and I have to say that I am even more excited that even though she looks nothing like Wendy she does have the Wendy aura. In fact, if MU and MW take place at different times next year I would say let Shinequa Francis be our rep. to both pageants.

On an aside, considering I have heard nothing about Shinequa Fernandez I am assuming she did not secure a modelling contract with Elite 2 days ago. If this is the case then I think Ms. Fernandez should be sought as a prospective future MU or MW rep. The Elite Caribbean Look 2011 showed that she can easily stand out of a crowd on her own.

"WORKING IT"
Now with respect to our comments as to how our rep. 'works' the stage I have to say that once we have a tall rep (around 6') and she has a decent walk we don't have to worry about all this hoppla about "working it." Venezuela knows this and it is about high time that we face reality. Additionally, small boobs are good but if a rep. would look more competitive with a boob job then the franchise holer should tell her - it's up to the delegate to agree to get on. Both Danielle Jones and Gabby got boob jobs and it payed off.

"Valene Maharaj"
Well we all know that prior to MUTT2011 I held the position that Gabby should not go to MU and if you did not realise why, it is because I thought she would not place - Top 20 yes, but no way top 10 (based on the criteria we have been seeing for the last decade but especially since 2006). Well, so said, so done. However, I am glad that she was our 2011 MU rep. because I think it would have been a disaster to send Shinequa Francis when she obviously needed more time to prepare. Additionally, in terms of interview and interaction with the public, I think future MTT could learn something from Gabby. People who actually spoke with her at the MU pageant had only good things to say about her.

Now, with respect to the beautiful Valene Maharaj, I think it is pretty safe to say that she is no longer interested in being MUTT but I have to admit that she was someone who could have made top 9 on merit at a MU. Please people, if the MU and MW franchises end up under the same umbrella please consider sending the same lady to both the MW and MU pageants in the same year of her reign if she is as competitive as Valene.

Considering all the politics that I saw at MU2011, it might be wiser to crown one rep. to both pageants immediately rather than have a previous MW semifinalist have to reenter the MUTT competition in another year.

July 4 th is rumored to be the cut off date for the crowning of MU reps. Considering the Olympics will be taking place next year, I really would not be shocked to hear MU2012 will be in October.

I am just hoping that the MTTU, MTTW and the MTTE reps. are selected at one pageant. I don't see the point in selecting sub-par delegates to clap. It is hard enough to place when we send a competitor. Crown one rep. to MU and MW and another to Miss Earth. It will cut down on wardrobe costs and training costs while avoiding the recycle label that MUorg obviously dislikes.

Well, based on what I am reading online it it possible that Miami may be the venue of MU2012 and the event may take place in September/October. This means MUT&T will probably be crowned in May or early June.

I have to say that I the last selection process adapted by Ian Lee and his team was good.

I just have one big suggestion - crown someone at least 5'10". Most of the MU 2012 reps that have been crowned already are 5'9" or taller.

Shinequa M. Francis, Soowan Bramble or if possible Shinequa Fernandez are the ladies who should be invited to enter and fast tracked to the semis of MUTT2012.

I am still hoping that the MW and MU reps are selected together for the 2012 cycle.

...around 15th Dec. 2011, the offical date will be released to franchise holders. This means MUTT should be in March (hopefully no later) to give our rep two solid months of training. I have to say if they do crown our rep later than February, we are going to be really screwed if Shinequa M. Francis does not win because I just don't see 2 months as being enough.

It seems that we will have to wait on MUorg to confirm July as the month for MU2012.

Has anyone of you look at Shenika Fernandez? if seclected to repersent Trinidad and Tobago at either Miss Universe and Miss World can easily walk away with the crown - I did not evaluate her intelligence skills - but I'm sure if she is groome correctly, then she will be just perfact!!

... I am am totally expecting her to do well at the Elite Model Look World finals. If she does, then her modelling career will take off and NO WAY will she enter MT&T. That being said, she would be a standout at either MU or MW.

It will be interesting to see who turns up to screen for MT&TU - I am wondering if Shinequa Francis or Soowan Bramble will screen. I want a MU rep. who is at least 5'10" this time around. No one below 5'8" should win MUTT based on the current direction that MUorg is going.

On another note, what the heck is going on with the MWTT franchise - is there even going to be a 2012 rep to Miss World?

...will most likely be held in July 2012. Aruba and Dominican Republic are rumored to have placed bids to host the 2012 event. I hope one of them wins.

Miss World 2011 will also be crowned around July or August so I guess new reps. will have to be crowned before the end of March. I just hope that Mr. Ragunanan gives up the MWTT franchise now and we get a new MW franchise holder before the end of the year.

I am hoping Sinequa screens for either title. She is such a competitive beauty!

...she needs to go to MU in 2-3 years... Shinequa will be MUTT2012 if she enters because she is freakin' georgeous and after these past months of modelling I think she would have overcome her stage fright.

Additionally, I hope Mr. Ragunanan gives up the Miss World TT franchise as soon as Lee Ann returns to T'dad because he appears to not know what he is doing. Apparently, Lee Ann's mom had to start begging in August all over the country for clothes, shoes, dancing classes, etc. because Mr. Ragunanan did no training with Lee Ann. What a horror!

On another note, I have to say congratulations to Renee for makeing top 15 at Miss International 2011. I think she is the first Trini to do so.

...she is possibly the first Trinbagonian to place at Miss International.

Additionally, Lee Ann placed 24th overall at MW and 10th in the prelim interview. What is really strange though is that the leaderboard showing the delegates placements and scores on the MW website does not include T&T.

In 2-3 years, Lee Ann's body may mature a bit more and she may have a few more lbs. If this is the case I would say she should consider screening for MU (and yes I have to say a boob job would help).

I am really hoping Michael Ragunanan gives up the MWTT franchise this month.

This has to be the worst slate of candidates at MW in over a decade. The only thing that makes it worst is that mediorcre ladies are placing in Beach Beauty and Top Model while stunners are left out. Before the pageant started I was totally convinced T&T would place this year, but I don't know what the heck is going on with this scoreboard nonsense. We sent the right girl but my gosh what the heck is happening to MWorg?

The ones I like are T&T, Venezuela, N. Ireland, Albania, Philippines, and USA. Ukraine and Cayman Islands also look good. However, MWorg seems to love PR and Sweden this year. Truthfully, I don't know what the heck these judges are looking for after seeing the results for BB and TM.

All I can do is wish Lee Ann the best for Sunday. I still think she can place based on SS, EG and interview.

On an aside, I hope Michael Ragunanan gives up the franchise before the end of the month and that Ian Lee or WIN TV takes up the franchise.

Venezuela is my fav. for the title but given Ms. Morley's propensity for bland winners I will predict N.Ireland will win.

I am still expecting Lee Ann to at least place. This year's pageant is the worst I have seen in the past 15 years with the excpetion of those public vote years.

Considering I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how the top 30 will be chosen (leaderboard? prelim competition?) I have to say I don't know how the heck to make any prediction I will have alot of confidence in but from what I have seen I think Venezuela, Spain or N. Ireland will win. I also hope Albania make it to the top 15 at least because she looks fantastic. I actually like the Phillipines' rep this year unlike their last 2 MU finalists. I think Philippines will be top 5 and Queen of Asia/Oceana.

It is already obvious that Ms. Morley has chosen PR as the best from the Caribbean but I personally find her boring to look at. For me T&T is still the best regionally and I am hoping Cayman Is. pulls a surprise placement. If polititics reckon heavily then Jamaica will place but I think Barbados is wayy... better. The African countries have very poor reps. this year but if there is a top 30 Ms. Morley will at least place 2 so I will just say Zimbabwe will place because she did well in the fast tracks.

Others who I think will place: USA, Sweden, England, Russia, Paraguay (great SS body).

O.K. so a couple of days have gone and we are not seeing much media coverage. I guess MWorg will be uploading alot of pics and vids come next week.

As we all know I am not perusing the internet as much as I have done in previous years so I only did a favs list for MU 2011. For MW though I think I will go out on a limb here and say that the two ladies I am sure will make the top 10 cut on merit are T&T and the Philippines.

Others that I like are Venezuela and Spain. Bonaire looks interesting but short with slightly thick thighs. I need to see more of Sweden but I am NOT convinced that Ireland is one of the best as many believe (again, I may be alone in that boat-LOL!).

The Caribbean is really strong this year, but I still don't get the hype with PR. Jamaica is totally out of the competition. Regionally, T&T, PR, Cayman Islands, Barbados and Bahamas look more competitive, but we will have to wait and see who stands out as the competition progresses.

...our girl made the top 28 to place in the sports fast track event. Apparently, the winners of the fast track events do not automatically qualify for the finals. Instead, points will be awarded for placements in all of the five fast track events. Based on these points, semifinalists for the MW final will be chosen. I am still unclear if a separate ten finalists will still be chosen based on the classic criteria or SS, EG and interview. I am hoping for a top 20 this year.

BB and Top Model are the two fast tracks that usually have the most semifinalists. I am hoping that Lee Ann places in the top 10 of both these events.

Based on what I am reading online, the top 5 finalists of MW will have to place in at least 3 fast track events. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Lee Ann places in the aforementioned two events.

Keep praying for our girl folks!

...based on her performance in the Sports Final I guess Lee Ann made top 10 and secured precious points.

I have to say I like the fluidity of her competition gown but the top beadwork better pick up well on the MW stage otherwise it might not just comm off as dated but atrocious next to the georgeous and expesive fabric that composes the lower part of the gown. The "I like it but I ain't sure it is really a top competition gown" feeling I get with this makes me think it is a Peter Elias creation but I guess we will have to wait for the name of the designer to be revealed.

O.K. So I know I am not a fan of this " Lee Ann needs to go to MU" bandwagon since I think she should win Miss World but I have to say out loud that a simple, greecian inspired design might work for Lee Ann if per chance she ever has to compete internationally again. I must quickly add that she is still my top pick for the crown but Sweden, Venezuela and Spain might be the ones to beat in the eyes of many. (Yes, I still don't think Ireland is 'all of that' but you never know).

On an aside, I have to say that I have not really been paying attention to MI2011 but from the very little I have seen I think Renne could possibly crack the top 15. I wish her all the best and hope she makes it.

She looked great on the Digicel Rising Stars competition this weekend. Yes she is very slim, but my gosh she is a beauty. Additionally, I have to say that even though I know she has been prepped well for the interview portion of the international competition she sounds intelligent but really young and you get the impression she has alot to learn which I think is the BEST FIT for the MW competition. I am really expecting a WIN or at least a top 2 placement.

All delegates must arrive by the 18th October in London (the competition officially begins on the 19th Oct) so I guess Lee Ann will be departing in about 7 days. I am expecting her to place in the top 20 of BB and top 10 (top 5 or could win)of Top Model. I can't wait to see the competition gown.

...Lee Ann indicated in the Trinidad Express article published this weekend that she will be departing on the 19th Oct for London. Considering it is a 10 hour flight (minimum) and the time difference, this means Lee Ann will arrive on the 20th October (or really late the night before).

Lee Ann says she is confident of making the top 10. I am expecting top 10 finshes in BB and Top Model.

It will be interesting to see how all the ladies look in London. I can't make up my mind about PR or India because of the photoshop. Additionally, I think facially Jamaica is strong but her body is not that impressive if I go with the untouched photos from MJW2011. However, in her photoshop pics she looks good. I don't get this "Jamaica will be top 5" stance of some of her countrymen though because she is about a one-half inch shorter than Gabby and she is no where close to Gabby's beauty. On merit I suspect, she is not top 20 but we all know the Jamaican camp along with PR has a very good relationship with Mrs. Morley.

For now, Lee Ann is my only pic for the Caribbean Continental title and my top fav for the crown. Additionally, I like Philippines for a spot in the semis.

O.K. So I know I said I thought Anya did not make it but I have to confess that after this week's show I think she did. I only saw Laura's collection and Anya but from what I was reading online alot of people though Laura, Anthony Ryan and Victor were the top 3 based on the expensive-looking fabric they used. After Anthony's elimination this week, I have to admit that I am convinced Anya is top 3 because at the end of the day NONE of her clothes look cheap. In fact I think it is one of the best spring/summer collections I have seen in a while.

Her entire collection has a very strong Caribbean feel with some african influence coming though. I hope no one bites my head of for this but personally, her clothes resonate more with me than any collection Meiling has produced. I think she is on her way to being much bigger than Meiling. I can actually see her designs resonating with the buying public globally.

Now YO-YO, you seem to know alot about the Trini pageant scene and the models. I just saw that Renee Bhagwandeen (top 8 at MUTT2011) announced that she has been chosen to represent T&T at the Miss International 2011 pageant. Do you by chance have any idea who is training her? Who is the franchise holder? I would be happy if I found out that Ian Lee and his team secured the franchise rights because based on the crazy juding I saw at MU, I don't think it is smart to put all of one's eggs in that 'Trump' basket.

...I would really like to know who holds the franchise. Anyways, I also did not like her at MUTT2011 but I have to admit that her latest pics are the best I have seen from her but I am sure they are retouched. Additionally, is it just me or did she get a couple of small implants. I think if she did it would be an improvement but considering she is a print model I suspect they are just insterts or good posing.

Personally, I think she does have a chance to place in the top 15 but I hope she is using WEN or some other hair product because her hair looked totally DAMAGED at the MUTT final and she literally looked like an OLD lady next to Gabby. I would prefer one solid hair color and get a tan, use less makeup and she could pull a placement. If she turns up for the international event doing the same thing she did at MUTT she can expect to clap big time. For now I am hopeful she at least brings her "A" game. I am hoping the gown is at the least very forming fitting from her waist up and shows up her cleavage in a flattering way and I would prefer her hair up.

O.K. Given all that I am saying, it's obvious I want her to place. I really have not paid much attention to MI before so I will have to see what the competition looks like in about a month.

...after seeing this week's show I think she made the top 3 but I have to confess that I don't think she won (even though I have only seen Laura's collection apart from Anya's). Anya's collection was great (I only did not like one outfit) and her final gown in the show was freakin' awesome in my opinion. However, the reason I think Anya did not win is the same think she has been saying thoughout the program - 'it's a matter of personal taste' and in this competition it is the judges taste that matter. Anya produced the type of work that the judges have always loved and rewared in the past editions of PR and you saw the response - it was the best work by far in Nina's opinion.

Anya, in my opinion, "went brave" as they say and designed a collection that was true to her own aesthetic and Caribbean background. It's fantastic but it is not the judges aesthetic. I think they will love the collection but for all the previous PR finals they have always given the top prize to more structured, solid color designs like the winning design that Anya did this week with the bird inspired black outfit.

After seeing Lee Ann's latest pics I have to say that finally we are having some good progress with the local franchise holders. Gabby, with the exception of her prelim gown, was the most on-point performance that I have seen in the last decade, especially when it came to interview and the way she interacted with the public.

Now, I am seeing that the pageant team has left Lee Ann in her natural state with just a hint of some additional styling since her crowning. I am feeling very confident about Lee Ann going very far in this competition. I would not be surprised with a win.

With respect to Lee Ann's competition gown, I suspect Peter Elias is the designer (I still prefer Bobby Ackberali) but I am not too worried because Lee Ann is such a strong competitor that it will be hard for her to not be a standout in an o.k. gown.

As for MW2012, it appears that MW2012 will be held in less than 10 months and I have to say that with MW we need to send a very PEREPARED delegate so I am hoping they crown Lee Ann's successor this year.

We did not place at MU2011 and I don't expect to see us anywhere close to the semis at Miss Earth 2011. As for MW2011 though, Trinbagonians can be secure in the fact that we have one of the top 10 contenders for the crown. Lee Ann has what it takes to win the title. In about 18 days she departs for London and I have to say that her latest pics show that she will also be one of the top contenders for the Beach Beauty and Top Model Awards.

With respect to the upcoming 2012 Miss T&T pageant cycle, rumor has it that MW has asked the franchise holders to crown their winners before the end of April 2012 and some are speculating that MU2012 will be in July. I am personally hoping that both reps (MU and MW)are crowned before the end of January next year given that Carnival is in February. However, I suspect that MUTT2012 may be held as late as March next year if Shinequa has already indicated she plans to screen again.

Apart from Shinequa, I am not sure of any other call back from the 2011 cycle for the MU or MW titles. Ann Rosa looks short but I think she should screen for MET&T. Vaneeta Maharaj has a banging body but at 5'5" she will be overlooked at either of the top 2 international pageants.

It will be interesting to see who ends up as MWT&T2012 early next year, because as of now I don't see any strong prospects.

Hey y'all I am so excited for tonight. This has been one of the best editions of Miss Universe I have ever seen. There truly are any number of different combinations for the top 16 that I am sure we will accept, unless of course they come way out of left field.

Anyway a lil more exciting news that I heard from a source close to the team. I was told that Gabby's gown will be changed if he does make it to the finals. Now I am hoping that that is true but you never know with these things. My source though is pretty reliable.

Our girl did a FANTASTIC JOB! She is one of the best reps. we have ever had, regardless of what transpires tonight. I am personally expecting her to be called into the top 16 but if it does not happen I am still so proud of our girl. She is such a classy and courageous young lady!

That being said, I have to say I am glad to hear that the gown will be changed.

As for tonight, we all expect China and Venezuela to make waves tonight. I would like to say in my opinion one of the final 5 places is already taken by Puerto Rico - that gown is just too fantastic for her not place in the final 5.

I also like Albania, Greece (possible top 5 even with the dated gown), Ukraine, Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia (possible top 5- I know no one else seems to think she will even place because of the underwear fiasco-I guess I am out in that boat alone. Lol!), Israel, Malaysia, and of course, Brazil will be there. I am still a bit jaded by how thin USA and Kosovo are but I think USA will place.

All the best to our girl. She can rest assured that T&T is 100% behind her.

I just realized that I posted 13 ladies that stood out to me so I better just add two and make a top 15 favorites (not prediction) list. The other 2 likes are Netherlands and Angola (but I would not be surprised to see either Aruba or Curacao place ahead of her).

On an interesting note Mautitius has sent the best MU rep. that country has had in a very long time. I wonder if she would snag a MUorg spot.

As YO-YO said, this year is one of the most compeitive in the past decade. I am expecting a much stronger slate of semifinalists than last year.

... and this is my problem the franchise holders tend to leave the better dress for if they get into the finals when the need to present the best dress at the preliminaries. At prelim there are so may other girls you really need to stand out. where did they get this reverse concept from. It's the same thing that happened to Latoya as well taking into consideration that she failed to bring it on as well. BOBBY ACKBARALI = stunning dresses. Valene dress for Ms World was just to die for come on people.Case in point - Ms Malaysia - intelligent great figure but her gown choice was boring. "Its not the dress its the way the girls carry it" Yeah right. If that was the case then Gabby would have been in Take note Trinidad and Tobago.

Minimum height: 5'8"
Must have good body proportion: Shoulders, breasts, waist and hips
MT&T must have cleavage- Period!
Modeleque with a soft, beautiful face.

I was a bit concerned that Christopher Natan would filter off all the real top competitors into modeling and we would never see them again on the pageant scene. Considering what I have seen for the last few years but the last 2 especially, we need to crown a tall delegate who has the model vibe but a soft, beautiful face that can appeal to the masses.

In my opinion Mr Nathan, is going to have to start funneling some of the models he encouters at castings to the MUT&T pageant.

One thing is obvious, when Gabby returns later this week and the committee sits down to discuss how to proceed they need to realize, as I did, MUorg no longer gives a rat's behind about how charitable and intelligent a rep. is. It is about primarily looks. We are a small nation so don't ever expect to be a MUorg pick because we have no political or economic leverage.

The thing I like about Mr. Lee's team is that they appear to listen to what people are saying online and modify what they are doing. The selection process for MUTT2011 was good but I would suggest doing an open entry format where young ladies can apply at any time of the year online/via mail. Another point to consider, is to give a quota of semi-final spots to members of the pageant team, essentially fast-tracking about 4-5 ladies to the semifinals every year. For instance, Mr. Nathan works with models. You can guarantee 2 spots are reserved for Mr. Nathan's to fill. Additionally, a list of past competitive delegates should be maintained and they should be given a wild-card to fast-track to the semifinals of the next year's pageant. For instance, Shinequa from last year should get a fast-track. Personally, if I was the franchis holder, I would reserve the right to fast-track a past competitor directly to the final.

All this being said, I know Mr. Lee and Mr. Nathan are neither blind nor dumb. Shinequa looks like someone who, once she performs well in the prelim interview, can easily place in the top 5 of either MW or MU. We need to get Shinequa or someone of her standard to be MUTT2012. I really don't give a flying fish about crowning anyone who could out-talk the other delegates. The selection should be about 90% looks and 10% confidence in answering questions - not how good the answer is-that's what can be fixed later.

She looks just o.k. I don't think she can make any impact internationally at a major beauty pageant.

At present only Shinequa seems to be a viable recent candidate. (I don't think Valene will bother with MU - she thoroughly enjoyed her MW experience but she seems very focused on her career and education currently - kudos to her).

I have to admit that T&T does have competitive ladies but I wonder if they will screen.

BeautySeeker and PageantNoob, you guys seem to know a lot more than I do about the local models. When LaToya was crowned she did a make-up demonstration (I can't recall the foreign make-up artist) with another very tall beautiful black model - does anyone know if that model was Trini because she looked really tall and way more beautiful than LaToya.

With respect to Shinequa, I wonder what we are going to see with the screenings for the new pageant year given that Shinequa is Miss Top Model Trinidad and Tobago 2011 and has a 3 year modelling contract. I really hope she is being prepped well for the stage because she will (if the competition is fair) place easily top 3 in SS and gown at MU and MW. Lookswise, Shinequa is the best I have seen on the local pageant circuit since the MUTT1998 pageant since Wendy and the indian girl at the same pageant who won Miss Photogenic.

I don't have a pic. I actually saw a short clip on television before she competed at MU2010.

I can't wait to hear when screenings will be announced. Imagine, some countries have already crowned their reps for MU 2012 already.

We need to crown our reps. at least 7 months before the international competition because that would mean 6 solid months of training.

...thanks so much for posting LeeAnn's officaly MW pics. I actually did not see these before I made the post about her hair. I wanted to see about 4-5 inches more in length and I wanted her hair to have a bit more body like it is in the first pic (white outfit). The MWTT pageant team are being really smart this year - we have a VERY STRONG contender this year and essentially her look has not changed much. MW does not like delegates that are too polished. They want a humble girl, with a good heart who is intelligent but obviously needs to learn more -that is a representative who can grow the MW brand and charity work and at the same time grow into a confident young lady over her year as MW.

For now, I can't see Lee Ann missing the cut at all. She will be one of the top 20 in both BB and Top Model.

...did you see Lee Ann on the cover of Caribbean Belle magazine? She looks fantastic and I have to say she looks really great with the ponytail.

I believe MW delegates have to arrive in Londan on the 19th October so Lee Ann should be leaving in just about 4 weeks.

As is usually the case, the slate of MW delegates tends to always be a stronger batch of beauties than MU and this year is no exception. Lee Ann will have her work cut out for her but I expect her to at least place in the finals and make the top 5/7. She could win but as we all know anything can happen at MW.

For pre-arrivals, I am interesting in seeing Philippines, Serbia, Albania, T&T (of course), Guam and yes, Jamaica. The latin slate is always among the most prepared so I am just going to wait and see who stands out in London without the photoshop.

With respect to the MWJamaica 2011 pageant, I hope the local pageant teams paid attention for one big reason - I don't ever want to see a hot mess like that in TT. The only delegate in that slate who I was sure would be a standout in London was Chavoy Gordon (hopefully I spelt the name right) but her answer to the final question was a disaster so she ended up in 5th spot. Now, for the MT&T teams I hope they realize that they need to have their finals at least 6 months before the international pageant so that the delegate with the most potential can be selected regardless of how poorly she answers the final question. You can always work on interview skills and body tone but if the young lady does not have the potetial she will only clap for the international competition. It is hard enough to place when we send real competitors - let's not waste $150,000 or so just to send a clapper.

I just had a look a Anya's 2012 collection that she showed at NY Fashion week and I absolutely love it (with the exception of one outfit). Sadly, based on the materials I saw, I guess Anya did not make the top 3. I only saw Laura's collection and it was obvious that she is a finalist based on the expensive fabric (the top 3 get way more money). Mind you, with the expection of a couple of outfits I was very bored by Laura's designs.

With respect to Anya, I am a bit shocked because up till this week I thought she was the best designer in the group. That being said,Anya is indeed a very smart business woman - I gurantee you her collection will do well in terms of sales especially in Miami. Additionally, I would not mind if we see some of Anya's designs on our MTT reps. With respect to the one brown outfit(short pants, V-neck top that looks almost like a gown) I would really like to see if this same note can be tweaked into a competition gown for a future MT&T.

I have to say that even though I really have not seen a competition gown from Anya, I suspect she can dish out a some fantastic designs that would put several of our past designers to shame. It will be interesting to see if Anya can step up to the plate and join T&T best master gown designer Mr. Bobby Ackberali.

Hi everybody I didn't post on this forum for awhile. I decided to watch the proceedings of the last week of Miss Universe and make my comments after. I have seen some of your comments about what went wrong and what type of delegate we should send. All I have to say is that after last year's and this years pageant don't even bother making recommendations.

I have noticed that the delegates that are 'invited' to official MUO events either before or during the pageant almost always make the semis - this year's event the Operation Smile event - China, Brazil, USA, Philippines and Venezuela. Last year Mexico, Philippines, Australia, some others can't remember now with the exception of Haiti made the semis. So therefore what is the premise of the presentation show when the MUO is already choosing who they want in the top 15/16.

As far as the judges choice I honestly after this year don't believe that the judges choose anybody. The only judges that choose are the ones for the final night and even they don't ask their own questions but are given questions by the MUO.

Ok here are my biggest problems with the direction the MUO is going and my biggest problems from this year:

USA - even though I like Alyssa at Miss USA but let's be real she showed to Miss Universe looking like a Somali refugee. She emaciated and looked AWFUL. But it wouldn't look good for NBC and MUO to have Miss USA missing the semis 2 yrs in a row. So kick out a deserving 'healthy' delegate and put in the crypt keeper.

Colombia - sorry never got this girl and never will. Lets face it she had the least attractive features of the top 16 but wait I forgot flashing your vagina gets you into the top 16 these days. So apparently missy miss commando picture was the most searched item on Yahoo so ppl will tune in to see if she had on panties or not I guess.

Brazil - I don't care about host country rights this girl looked 35. People talked about Gabby's age but at least Gabby's was attractive. Oh and all of a sudden having naked pictures gets you 2nd runner up at Miss Universe.

Kosovo - Another blah delegate that never lived up to her photoshop hype. She also had a very unhealthy looking body oh but wait I forgot that Fadil Berisha holds the franchises for Miss Albania and Miss Kosovo so as long as he is the 'official photographer' for Miss Universe one of or both of these countries will make the semis not matter what they look like.

Netherlands - proof that the preliminaries are a load of crap. This girl walk out on stage like she took Nyquil before competing and still made it. Ummm ok.

Panama - Thank you for hosting Miss Universe in 2013 and paying us millions upfront. This girl always looked like at 10 year old playing dress up.

Portugal - How the hell a country who hasn't participated in MU since 1992 all of a sudden win the popular vote!!!!!!!!!! Wait Brazil was a Portugese territory ummmm ok.

My conclusion is unless MUO like or choose your delegate before hand or they flash their va jay jay forget. I hate the way this pageant is being run and never thought that I would say this but bring on Miss World!!! Peace out people.

I always look forward to what you have to say. I agree with about 90-95% with what you are saying -the other 5 % is pretty trivial.

This year's pageant in my mind was in fact the biggest political, back-door pageant I have ever witnessed. At least at MW it is the judges who do the judging before the final and yes-BRAINS count big time.

This year, forget about brains. I actually disagree with YO-YO's view that we are seeing a return to the 1990s style -if this was true Gabby would be at least top 10. Angola was a surprise winner for about 90% of the people out there, including the MUorg.

Based on the top 5 it was obvious China (yes, she was and still is my fav along with Venezuela) was put in the top 5 with very little competition. If she had nailed the interview question she would be MU right now. China has taken over as the big enconomic world power and it would have been good business sense for Trump to crown her.

Really, Phillipines and Brazil -yes both were MUorg picks but how the heck they made top 5 (or top 10 for that matter) is beyone me (I would have loved to see the scores from these judges live). Venezuela and PR would have made top 5 if they were not removed from the top 10. Kosovo and USA just looked like as#-less skeletons -way to go future MUSA contestants- apparently anorexia is acceptable by MUorg.

I don't understand how anyone could think MU2011 was a fair competition when at least 7 of the semifinalist were chosen by MUorg. I liked Columbia at the presentations show but I have to agree that the va-jay-jay incident should have spelt the end of her chances at the semis - on the contrary though, I do think she was probably a MUorg pick - even bad press is good advertisement as La Toya would say but Columbia had the benefit of never having a chance of ever winning the title (unlike La Toya).

I'll take MW over this nonsense any day. A big concern for me is the very small size of T&T and essentially our insignifacne in terms of economic and political leverage - if we send 5 reps. that actually make top 9 of MU on merit I would not be suprised to see only one called in the semis. I really can't pound Ian Lee and hit team this year because they did the best they could. The only 2 issues I have is 1. they need to get input from people outside of their circle to give a truthful assessment of what gown our delegate is wearing and 2. Please crown MUT&T at least 7 months prior to the pageant -essentially she would have 6 solid months of training.

If it was up to me, I would begin screening for the semis in November and crown the new MT&T in December. We would then have enough time to prepare an unseasoned delegate properly. Aditionally, we all know we will be clapping at ME2011, but someone from the MUTT team needs to approach the franchise holder for Miss Oneness TT and and try to merge the selection process for both pageants.

I have really big concerns if Shinequa decides to enter MUTT. I think she should enter MWTT because I think her beauty will be better appreciated and she would get a fair placement at MW.

So Gabby didn't make it. She did us proud. Thank you Gabby.

To the pageant company I ask you to observe the top 16 what was the difference between the top 16? Nothing. They were all the same girl with different hair and skin color. Tall skinny. Colombia was the only one with a lil curve to her. Please when you are scouting Miss Trinidad and Tobago contestants really remember that the MUO is not trying to think outside of the box. It's the mold. Miss world then you can go all experimental on the type you send.

But again Thank you Gabby

THE PROBLEM IS THAT GABBY WAS COOKIE CUTTER THE LATINA LOOK IS PLAYED OUT SHE NEEDED TO LOOK UNIQUE.. THE BLACK CONTESTANTS LOOKED COOKIE CUTTER ALL EXCEPT ANGOLA, THE ASIANS LOOKED COOKIE CUTTER PHILLIPINES LOOKED LIKE A COOKIE CUTTER LATINA, THE EUROPEANS LOOKED COOKIE CUTTER. ANGOLA WAS REFRESHING, SHE LOOKED REGAL WITHOUT THE CROWN AND HER FACE AND STYLE WAS UNIQUE SHE STOOD APART FROM ALL THE REST. UNIQUENESS WAS THE ORDER OF THE DAY.

I'll keep this short. The problem is not the girl we send, the problem is WHAT and HOW we prepare the girl. We could have sent up someone just like Angola, we sent so many close lookers years before...it was obvious from the presentation show that Gabby was either nervous, I don't want to say ill-prepared but something was off. This is what we need to work on. Quite frankly, we should just take a break from Miss Universe.

...I'm not going to be rude but I don't see the need for pride and congratulations. She did not represent T&T, it started from that interview then it followed with the EG/SS. Trini women don't carry themselves that way...I remember Peter saying our winners should carry the image of every single Trini woman, from the market leader to the professional. Our ladies need some training in WHO THEY ARE. Take Latoya for instance, she stripped and completely forgot she wasn't representing herself, but her country.

I'm really not convinced that Gabby remembered it was T&T she was repping, someone of her age and experience to go off on with that accent, which to me is where it all went wrong. Obviously the MUO looks at these things and asseses a girl....

...Gabby was a good representative - in fact, one of the best-Period! Pgwhizz, if she had made the top 16 would you have been saying these things?

Let me be totally honest, Gabby lived a couple of years in the US doing her acting degree and she was TAUGHT how to speak and conduct herself on a stage. If you want to pong Gabby, then first pong me. I am of east indian descent, and did my Masters on scholarship at an I.V. institution where I learnt how to speak phonetically correct for my job. I am living in T'dad now and you could not hear from the way I speak anything to indicate I was 'up north.' However, if I have to do a presentation or talk to a group of people at work, this 'accent' that you don't like comes out with the standard english. So I don't get what the heck the issue about the accent is. Does an accent make anyone a Trini? Well then we should boycott Nicki Manaj's music and go off on Penny when she pops in a little accent. Gosh people, Gabby was doing her JOB as MUTT2011. SHE LOVES T&T! If MU wanted natural, authentic ladies that represent "every woman" in their respective countries, then they should have dumped that bag of bones with the botox shots, breast implants, bleached teeth and colored hair called MUSA 2011.

The main take away that I have from this year's pageant, is that NO WAY is MU going to crown a lady shorter than 5'8" again. Everyone in the top 16 looked tall (with the exception of USA and Philippines). Eveyrone was the same cookie-cutter shape just like last year. At least I saw a different skin tone this year.

Yo-Yo realized they would not sway from their mould for the organizational picks, while I was still holding out hope. I now know better. Ideally, our MT&T reps. should be 5'8" and above in height.

I always said Gabby did not fit the MUorg body type but what this year showed us is that regardless of how beautiful a relatively short delegate is, she will not place. MU is about fitting their clearly defined mould. MW is still more open to different types of beauty.

Valene 5'8", Shinequa 5'10" and Miss Arima from the 2010 local pageant are the only past reps. that fit this mould and still meet the age requirement. MUorg. likes young reps. but Valene is too strong to miss the top 9 merit list provided she has the right gown. Shinequa would be a top 3 fav. and placer in SS and gown. Miss Arima (from MUTT2010) would have to work her as# off to place but she is definitely a competitor.

Guys, Lee Ann leaves for London in about one month. She is already one of the strongest delegates for the crown this year. I am wondering if we are going to see bigger hair on her for the pageant. In my opinion, she is in contention for both the Miss World Caribbean and Miss World 2011 titles. She is the best we have had at MW since Valene in 2007.

Lee Ann Forbes aims to bring home TT’s second Miss World title
By VERDEL BISHOP Monday, August 29 2011

Miss Trinidad and Tobago World delegate, Lee Ann Forbes is on a hectic schedule but it’s all worth it because come November 6, she knows she’ll be at her very best when she comes up against delegates from over 100 countries on the Miss World stage in London.

Juggling among make up courses, work-outs at the gym, courtesy calls, dance and other development training plus the pursuit of her tertiary education may be a bit tiring, but the 21 year old 5’8” beauty said, “It’s all worth it!”

“Right now it’s a little hard for me to get time for myself but there are things that I have to achieve and I’m getting there,” Lee-Ann said. If she is successful, she will be the second woman to bring home a Miss World title. She said because of the training she is being exposed to, she is confident the world will see her in the top ten of the competition.

Lee-Ann is excited about her physique. She said she is at a stage in her life where she feels the most healthy and fit. She said more young women should act now and live healthy lifestyles. “I am putting in a lot of work at the gym and I’m seeing real benefits. I’m fitter and I feel good about myself. I think more young women should be more aware of their lifestyles and make a decision to become healthy,” she said.

“Most women join gyms only to get toned for Carnival season, but there are real benefits in sticking to a healthy routine and I’m proud of the benefits I’m seeing in myself. I’ve always had a healthy lifestyle so nothing much has changed, it’s just that I feel better about myself.

“So many young people are suffering from diseases and obesity like diabetes and that’s sad because too many youths are into the wrong things instead of living healthy lifestyles,” she added.

Although Lee-Ann’s selection as this country’s delegate has exposed her to new and exciting experiences, she has stayed grounded. “I’m the same person as before. I am exposed to much more and I have experienced a lot of positive experiences and have had lots of opportunities but I am still me. My successes have not changed who I am,” she said.

When it comes to her evening wear for the pageant, Lee-Ann is not sure who is going to outfit her. She noted however, that it may be between Peter Elias, Meiling or Jagdeo Rampersad who would be bestowed with the honour of dressing her for the world stage. She noted that although she is uncertain whose design she would wear, she is opened to any option and she completely trusts the judgement of the local designers.

Lee-Ann said she is sad about the social ills affecting the country. She said she is hopeful people would use the State of Emergency to reflect on positive change. “I’m concerned about the direction this country is heading. People should become more open minded and use the imposed curfew to think about their lives and this country and see how they could contribute to change; it’s in their interest; crime is affecting all of us,” she said.

Recently, Kristina’s shoe store outfield Lee-Ann with over ten pairs of trendy shoes as part of her preparation for the UK pageant. Speaking at the handing over ceremony a the store at the corner of Queen and Frederick Streets, Port-of-Spain, the store’s Operations Manager, Suresh Singh, said Kirstina’s is very happy with sponsoring Miss World. “It is the right fit for us because she is very glamourous, have always been associated with sponsoring for pageants and Lee-Ann will do us proud.”

Meanwhile, Lee-Ann said she is happy that Kristina’s stepped forward to sponsor her footwear. “The right footwear makes a statement not only with your outfit but with your confidence, so I am hoping to make even more of an impact with I go to London,” she said.

Lee-Ann leaves for London in October in time for the pageant. In September, she will host a charity fashion event, to raise funds for Lady Hochoy Home.

So it has been an excellent Miss Universe edition I thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire pageant unfold and I also thoroughly enjoyed reading your comments throughout the months.

Now everyone is posting here what we should have or could have done to improve our chances this year well this edition is over on to the next.

Gabby was honestly the best of a bad situation for T&T we had little time to prepare a delegate and though I loved the Tobago contestant she would not have been able to be prepared in time. Gabby was quintessentially a sacrificial lamb. I love her but it's true.

To gain a Miss Universe spot we need not only a model but a pin up or in our time a Sports illustrated type meaning Sexy. Models internationally are actually what Miss USA became. Yes Ladies and gentlemen that is what real models look like. They are extremely thin. Now I knwo you all will jump on me and say no that isn't true look at the Victoria Secret Models. My answer to you is that these are a select type of model. Those are the ones that can do beauty pageants and win not the other type i.e. Miss USA (Who by the way they will love in Milan and Paris).

So to even be considered for a spot you have to be a glamozon. but to make that top 16 you need to create a good buzz around you. Gabby was not photographed enough at all. and all the pics I saw she looked sexy but not approachable in the slightest. Which brings me to the next quality a semifinalist must have. Approachability! Miss Universe will have to meet a ton of different people and warm their hearts. She's meeting kids and the sick so she needs that smile that lights up the place and wows everyone so it isn't only sex appeal.

Now here is what I learned from this year's edition. They are returning to the old type or mould, meaning the era of Lara and Wendy are coming back. I noticed it last year with the choice of Mexico. She wasn't as playful as the last 4 Miss Universes she was definitely more mature but Angola's coronation to me proved they are returning to the classy winner's of old. Noticed after Riyo one in 2007 everyone and their mother was flying down the runway with these damned winged dresses throwing it around made worse by Taliana's Miss colombia 2008's trend continuing excellent performance in 2008. It's funny because when the entire thing started this season I was the one who said the last 5 miss universes except Mexico were these bubbly playfully immature young women who grin from ear to ear but now I think the focus is more about Class than youth and we need to read the trends wisely when picking our next delegate. By the way when I saw youth I mean bubbly and bouncy not age because they are still looking for a younger chicken just one with her head on lol.

I too don't think T&T will ever get the MUO pic due to many reasons but I do feel if we are a blatant favorite that missed the cut then I won't be surprised if we get one. Meaning like GB or Missosolgy number 1 pick kind of favorite.

The pageant this year I thought had a great batch of girls an excellent top 15 and an even more excellent top 5 that answered the questions extremely well. Do I think Angola answered the best it is extremely hard to say because to me all the responses were great (which leads me to believe they gave the girls the questions before to prepare) because no one even faulted to say um let me think lol. It was truly a suspenseful final 5 and crowning moment as I had no idea who would get it. That is how a pageant should be. This to me was the best edition of the pageant that I had ever seen. I was truly pleased.

PS: and why was she was shaking up she head so on the intro?? Haha!

...but I still think the gown makes her look thick. With respect to the mouth thing, I think Gabby was trying to be sexy but she looked way better when she made the little smile with her lips and then just gave us a peek at her teeth.

Turkey looks fantastic but I don't see any personality in the walk - generic model walk!

I am still expecting to hear Gabby called as one of the final 16 tomorrow. She can at least crack the top 10. The gown is o.k. but Gabby works the heck out of it so she could possibly be a surprise top 5 placer.

Again, I have to say that I am immensely proud of our girl. She gave 1000%. She is definitely one of the best MT&Ts we have ever had, regardless of what transpires tomorrow.

...there is no need to be disappointed with the comments. These are just people's views and we are not bashing Gabby. We actually love the young lady and at the end of the day it is best to be honest. I don't have her inside the top 9 of my merit list. If it was a top 16 merit list then she would be there. That being said, I really am expecting her to be called into the top 16 come Monday. She has a fantastic body and she has always had a pleasant and graceful quality about her that I think bodes well.

Considering the 16-10-5 selection processs, once Gabby makes top 16 I am predicting a top 10 finish at the least. The gown is not bad but it certainly was NOT the caliber I was expecting. I like the hard and soft elements, given the fact that the bottom flows and is translucent saves the dress. The plunging neckline was basically LOST below the MT&T slash. Truly, if Gabby wears this on final night I have every confidence she will work the hell out of it but at the end of the day this was not a gown that just easily highlights Gabby's beauty-this is a gown Gabby better know how to work.

Too bad Bobby Ackberali is not involved, because if I were the franchise holder, I would switch gowns for the final and Bobby has a plethora of excellent gowns that could have provided at least a couple of good back-ups.

I have to apologize because I think I may have come across too strongly and harshly when I criticized Gabby. For me She did her job Her body is on point and she did her thing in the Gown, however this is a competition and you have to compare her performance to the rest of the girls. Now yes I have been following the pageant websites and have seen some positive feed back sometimes for Gaby and that is if the judges were choosing a top 16 but they are not they are choosing 9. Ironically 9 delegates have appeared in every website's list so faR. i HAD FREE TIME SO i did the analysis.

AUSTRALIA
CHINA
COSTA RICA
FRANCE
PHILIPPINES
USA
UKRAINE
GREECE
MALAYSIA
list made up of top 16 picks from Global Beauties Missosology and Mundial Beauties

Now I know it is hard sometimes to step back and put patriotism aside but if you do and you really look at the competition you will see that Gabby didn't outshine these nine ladies on presentation night she may have been up there with them but she didn't outshine. Now was she good enough for a MUO pick? The only reason why I say no is because MUO doesn't step out of the box for what they want to see. Beautiful tall bombshell doesn't matter if she was crappy in the presentation show performance wise or how well you interview it is simply a do you look like what we like. they are not trying to break that mold any time soon.

I will be happy like pappy if Gabby Makes it I just like to try to be fair when I judge these things and I just think that there were better performances during presentation night.

Just watched the prelims. I didn't get to see Gabby perform for evening gown as there was a glitch and the site was down for a while. However her swimsuit....I'm hoping this performance is not scored and that they focus more on the preview, when the judges 'examined' their bodies up close.

Something was off, her walk was stunning however her facial expression was lacking terribly. She seemed upset, then nervous and gave a half-smile coming down to the end. It was nothing like her performance for Miss T/T and I'm worried. I feel the same way I felt after seeing Latoya's presentation, she (Gabby) just didn't give her all and was not a standout...God help us!

...I have to confess that after I did not see any post about the interview on her FB page I thought she probably did not nail it. Considering your comment, if it is true then Gabby is OUT of the top 9. The question is
'will she be one of the 6 chosen by the MUorg' considering there is NO way we could win the online vote.

However, I have seen hot messes make the top 15 so I am not counting her out as yet.

I fully agree with the original poster. She did not perform well. she seemed slightly stiff and the facial expression wasn't their for the SS competition. Now my major question is who the decided it was a wise idea to make her gown in a similar design and color to last year's winner. I was shocked that they would make such a mis-step like that. For those who didn't see it, It was a mauve or deep red color with a similar wing like train that last years winner had.

Now I am sure Gabby tried but the reality is this year was way too competitive and my top 16 has changed

In Radom order - TOP 9
CHINA - Great performance in both evening gown and swim suit she worked that slow walk which is remarkable because most asian beauties tend to walk slightly stiff and a bit fast. I liked the photographed gown better but she milked the one she wore for the prelim and her swim suit performance was excellent

COSTA RICA - I did not agree with the gown change but still loved her performance and her SS was one of the best

FRANCE - Great al round performance nothing negative to say I liked the photographed gown better but she worked the hell out of the white dress

MALAYSIA - AMAZING I really think she will be a serious contender to take it. both performances were spectacular and her interview has been gaining critical acclaim from all the major websites.

MEXICO - She may not have delivered in the interview online but she knocked it out of the park in the presentation show. elegant and sexy. she will definitely be there.

PERU - The girl has not moved wrong since getting to Brazil and her performance last night was one of the best.

PUERTO RICO - I was not originally a fan but when she made that first step out in that amazing gown I was like yes she is here to compete.

VENEZUELA - By far the best of the night when I take into account everything. Gown was on point swimsuit was out of this world the girl performed and we can't take that away.

NETHERLANDS - To me she was in 9th place and will make it. but as a front runner her performance was not the best.

MUO CHOICE
KOSOVO - STRONG ENOUGH TO MAKE IT AND BEAUTIFUL ENOUGH TO BE THERE

USA - I WAS SHOCKED WITH HOW LACK LUSTER HER PERFORMANCE WAS COUPLED WITH THE HORRIBLE GOWN CHOICE. NOT A TOP 9 BUT WILL BE THERE DUE TO HER FRONT RUNNER STATUS

UKRAINE - DIDN'T WOW ME BUT IF I KNOW THE MUO SHE WILL BE THERE

ALBANIA - DID A GOOD ENOUGH JOB TO BE REMEMBERED

GREECE - WAS SHOCKED AT HOW POOR HER RUNWAY SKILLS FOR PAGEANTS WERE. HOWEVER I UNDERSTAND. WORKING MODELS OF THIS TIME MAKE HORRIBLE BEAUTY QUEENS THE WALK IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. FOR THIS PAGEANT SHE FELL FLAT FOR ME

BRAZIL - WAS OK ENOUGH I COULD SEE MUO THROWING BRAZIL A BONE

VOTE
THAILAND DUE TO RECENT HISTORY THE THAI'S HAVE TAKEN OVER THE PINOY'S IN MASTERING THE INTERNET VOTE.

I want to talk about three ladies ANGOLA ARUBA and BAHAMAS

Angola fell extremely flat on stage besides not being able to walk in the dress the SS performance was lacking big time. I could see her as an MUO choice but I predict that both Global Beauties and Missosology will boot her out of their top 16.

I could tell Aruba was feeling herself especially since she started to cause a sensation when she got there as a darkhorse but I think her excitement got the better of her and she was just overzealous causing her to trip a bit in the EG comp. her swimsuit was ok but she is a bit thick for MUO standards.

BAHAMAS -KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. Her gown selection was superb and her bathing suit performance though slightly boder-line theatric was by far one of the best if not the best of the night. I see her as the Yendi of this cycle. I will not be surprised if she makes it. She was great.

Sorry Gabby but I just can't et behind your performance this time.

CHINA
COSTA RICA
FRANCE
MALAYSIA
MEXICO
PERU
PUERTO RICO
VENEZUELA
NETHERLANDS
KOSOVO
USA
UKRAINE
ALBANIA
GREECE
BRAZIL

Thank you, I tried my best to be realistic and unbiased. I've replayed it over and over on livestream and there's a particular point where its just ughhh what is she doing?

I'm disappointed because someone with all that experience to just through it away like that is sad. Again, hopefully that part of the competition isn't stressed, as they did do the preview and her body is bang on! Even Ms.USA 2003 twittered about her body!

Right now its up to God...if she makes it, I'll be extremely happy, if not, I'll be sad but I'll know now exactly what Miss Universe wants/requires...and I don't understand why MTT organization doesn't get it...it all boils down to those 10 crucial seconds on stage! Its either you got it, or you don't...her spin as well seemed very 'today I learnt this let me try it'.

I doubt this year I can give a prediction list because my internet connection is too slow and at the same time I have not been following the pageant as closely as I have done in previous years so I will post favorites from the little I have seen over the past 2 weeks -not just the presentation show (which for me is what I really need to look at to come up with a good idea of how Gabby did overall in comparison to other reps.). Now that being said, I just saw a couple pics of Gabby in gown and I have to say I do NOT like it. I am sure she was not top 9 in gown.

Pgwhizz, thank you for your honesty but I have have to say she does not have 10 secs to do well she has 2-4 seconds to do well-by then the judges already have a score for her in their head. I tried that "8-10 sec" scoring mess in 2008 for that hot mess crap that Peter Elias put her in - based on her actual placement I have to say that 17th spot was accurate as I had her 12/11th based on the first 3 sec. assessment. Once Gabby nailed the first 4 secs she is in.

Based on her SS preview phot, I have to say Gabby is definitely top 20 in that segment. Additionally, I would not be surprised if she was top 9 among a few of the judges but I suspect the judges either really loved her body and thought nothing of it. I think even though it is not the very slim, elongated SS body we see at MU, her body looked crazy good.

Gownwise- what can I say- I could have designed something better. This was a whimper, not a 'WOW.' Considering that they kept this gown a 'secret' we were all expecting something with more impact.

As of now these are my top favorites:
1. Venezuela (possible winner- my top pick currently)
2. China (possible winner but she is beatable, not unstoppable)
3. France (could she pull a surprise top 4?)
Additional standouts: PR (but I do not like her face), Vietnam (I totally love her look and I am probably being naive by saying I expect her to place when I totally am not confident of her interview skills)

USA cannot make even top 16 on MERIT. So here are my MUOrg pics: USA, BRAZIL, BAHAMAS. Also possibly, Greece, T&T and maybe Egypt (but she looks alot more disappointing than I expected). Yes, I am giving Gabby the benefit of the doubt- based on what we know about her interview skills I will say she probably made top 9 in the interviews, strong SS performance but the gown was just O.K. I think it was enough to at least attract MUorg's attention to be considered as one of their picks. If this was any other previous T&T rep. I would say we don't have a chance of being a MUorg pick but this is Gabby- she fits the beauty pageant mould that MUorg is looking for in a big way.

P.S. I think Guam is the cutest delegate this year. She could never place on merit though.

...I just saw of pic of Gabs in SS and I see what you are talking about. That half-smile looks so intense and she is trying to be a little too 'forced' sexy. I would have preferred some tasteful fun smiling that was not overly done. The body was slammin' though. I hope the judges loved it.

I am still waiting to see a full frontal pic of Gabby in her gown because the ones that I have seen so far are with her at an angle and she looks short and fat in them. Why am I seeing so much detail from just below the breasts to just below the her tush is beyond my comprehension. Look at how slim she looked in her white prelim interview outfit. NO WAY WAS THIS RED GOWN A BOBBY ACKBERALI CREATION.

Trini77 is take some consolation in your argument. To tell you the truth, I slept horribly last night, it was almost as if the pageant had already taken place and she did not place, this is how concern I am.

However, waking up this morning and reading your review, I decided to take a look at last years leaderboard published by Globalbeauties....Here's their predictions:

1.IRELAND
2.MEXICO
3.PHILIPPINES
4.RUSSIA
5.JAMAICA
6.COLOMBIA
7.USA
8.UKRAINE
9.AUSTRALIA
10.ALBANIA
11.NEW ZEALAND
12.P.RICO
13.SOUTH AFRICA
14. T&T
15.FRANCE
16.THAILAND
17.CZECH REP.
18.GUATEMALA
19.VENEZUELA
20.BELGIUM

But look at what really happened...

1. IRELAND placed but failed to win (top 10) as predicted
2. MEXICO (won, however didn't even ace the finals, Jamaica did)
3.PHILIPPINES (4th runner-up, I think she was only there due to large Filipino crowd, I still am not impressed by her SS skills)
4.RUSSIA (T15)...She basically fell from 4th to TOP 15!
5.JAMAICA (1st runner up, I felt based on older MU principles, she deserved to win...)
6.COLOMBIA (T15)
7.USA (Did not even place!)
8.UKRAINE (3rd, thus a leap from 8th to 3rd!)
9.AUSTRALIA (2nd, a leap from 9th to 2nd runner up)
10.ALBANIA TOP 10
11.NEW ZEALAND (NO PLACE!)
12.P.RICO (TOP 10)
13.SOUTH AFRICA (TOP 10)
14. T&T (NO PLACE!)
15.FRANCE (TOP 15)

In essence, they got the winner wrong, 3 out of their 15 failed to place, 1 of that 15 (T&T) didn't deserve to place based on her prelims...USA was just plumped in their because she's USA.

The rest...

16.THAILAND (no place!)
17.CZECH REP. (top 15)
18.GUATEMALA (top 10)
19.VENEZUELA (no place!)
20.BELGIUM (top 15)

Again, 3 out of their bottom 5 placed, meaning the same 3 that were predicted to place in the top 15 can replace the bottom 3 they didn't expect to make top 15....

Thus my prayer is that when GB/Missology come out with their rankings, Gabby is at LEAST in their TOP 20. I'll have comfort in that and the mere fact as you say Trini77 that she's probably a closer mould to what MUO is looking for in comparison with our previous delegates.

I'd like to talk to her though to see what went wrong, I feel its a mixture of maybe a bad interview, plain nervousness or she probably paid too much attention to all these rankings and comments being posted. I wish our delegates were less into the feedback during the pageant and more focussed on their goals until prelims....sigh

Here is my thing about your argument. Due to Gabby's age and to her height Gabby had to have made it to the top 16 on merit. The MUO chooses the same types of girls every year and it is simple, Fadil the photographer who takes the annual glamour shot said it blatantly in a recent interview Miss Universe needs to be modelesque and pretty and that is it. Yes in Trinidad Gabby is a great model but she won't work internationally and that's the truth. That isn't saying she isn't stunning but in a group where you have the strongest competition in years it isn't enough to be stunning. To even get the MUO to look your way this year unlike other years you really needed to perform well in the presentation show. Simply because there are a boat load of stunners this year so what separates you from the pack. Lets face it Miss U is not like Miss W who is looking for a woman with Brains. Quite Frankly MUO would be delighted if the winner had some substance but could careless if she didn't that being said Gabby's interviewing skills which is her main asset has just been down graded a bit more.

All I am saying is her performance was not memorable on a night where she needed to shine extremely bright there were so many other stars. And the honest truth is USA was literally the only front runner that dropped the ball big time. lesser favorites like Puerto Rico Albania and Kosovo actually gained strength.

If Gabby makes it I will eat my word but with my experience following this pageant over the years I have to conclude that she's out

...I really appreciate your candor and agree with the majority of things you said. The only difference between our positions is how we view the top 6 MUorg picks.

In my opinion all of our 8 former MU placers had to earn their spots on merit. Gabby did not place in my top 9 based on the prelims and so in my opinion she is totally out.

However, I still think she has a slim chance of making the top 16 because her body is different for the majority of the other ladies but still slammin' plus she has one of the best faces in the competition.

Realistically, on any given year I would NOT expect any of MUorgs picks to win. In fact, if in the last 8 years or so of MUorg picking 5-6 of the semifinalists- if at least one won, I would be shocked. All MUorg cares about is what type of girls will keep an audience watching or which Trump wants for business leverage (e.g. possible host/hotel opening, models for his agency, etc.). Gabby could never be a Trump model but she has a look that works for T.V. Additionally, yes we know Trump probably outright says put a couple in regarless of how the MUorg officials feel but if Paula S. still has some say, she is personally going to advocate for ladies who have good looks WITH substance. This is why LaToya basically screwed herself last year...the Trump people used her for mileage but none of the old heads in the MUorg from the 1990s who are still there would be impressed with a topless winner.

That being said, look at the top 15 from the last 8 years, they all have ONE thing in common -if you did a merit list based on the prelim gown and SS they would ALL be in the top 30 with the exception of about 4-5. So I will still say Gabby has a slim chance of being one of MUorg's picks.

I know we all have concerns but I have to say it as I still feel it - OUR GIRL GAVE HER BEST and that is all we can ask for.

We all know she does not have the elongated skinny body MU likes but my gosh, she whipped that body into something da#m fine and sexy. Truly, if the SS segment was about physical fitness and sex appeal Gabby would be top 5 hands down. Her abs rocked that stage and yes, the red lipstick with the red backdrop was a little too much but remember she had to wear the same makeup for the EG segment - the make-up people were not going to start afresh after the SS round - only touch-ups! For me she was easily top 15 in SS.

The gown however was a total downfall. After seeing her in all those red outfits for the last 2 months I thought they would have gone with a different color -gold or a almost skintone gown with a gold-brown undertone. I am fine with the fact that they chose red, but why the heck put her banging body in a totally DATED gown with absolutely no forethough of how her waistline disappeared. We may have changed pageant teams sice 2008 but BOTH Anya and Gabby got screwed in the EG - If someone from the pageant team is reading this - take a 2nd look at the freakin' white prelim interview outfit Gabby wore- I saw shoulders, breasts, a very slim and impressive waistline and hips - now look at the red gown they got from 20 years ago- the boobs look O.K. buth her wiast and hips look thick and short. My gosh, Gabby is 5'6.5" -WHY THE HEL# MAKE HER LOOK LIKE A HOBBIT?

At the end of the day, Mr Lee has to learn from this mistake. We did not need an elaborate gown for Gabby- we just needed one that worked well to highlight her great body. If they had chosen a simple red fitted gown with some minimal editing to make it current she could have knocked the ball out of the ballpark for the prelims. Why handicap her? This is a gown you could probably competet againt 15 in and hope to scrape by but for 88 other women to be competing against-you just lost the ball game.

I am just hoping Gabby is one of MUorg's picks.

In conclusion, I would not be surprised either way on 12th Sept.- Gabby has one of the top SS bodies and would not look out of place in the top 8 at least. She is in my top 20 merit list and I believe she is a strong contender for one of the 6 MUorg spots.

There are always going to be things that we dont like but Gabby did good in my opnion. There isnt the full video of her evening gown performance that I could see but the little I did see at the end when she was walking back out looked good to me

Tomorrow night is the final leg of the prelims -the presentation show. Obviously the real contenders for MU will become known tomorrow when they take the stage. As of now these are the reps. who interest me the most:

CHINA
VENEZUELA
KOSOVO
CURACAO
RUSSIA
VIETNAM
TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

I just had a look at the preview SS pics of the 49 reps in group one and I have to say that Gabby's body is totally different from all the other delegates. Yes she is not the typical MU body-type but our girl looked lovely. I am very happy to see some tasteful ab definition and the hair was on point.

All the best to Gabby for tomorrow! I know she did the best she could at the interviews today. I hope she nailed it.

I just don't know what else to say. Gabby posted about 19 hours ago that her voice still has not come back to normal and interviews are tomorrow and Wednesday! This could be disastrous because even if she has a great answer to each question they pose any horseness in her voice could be distracting and negatively affect her interview score. Say a prayer for Gabs folks!

On an aside, I now see Venezuela as a possible MU winner. China is still the obvious choice but Venezuela could pull a big surprise. I am really hoping Gabby does well in the prelims. She is the strongest darkhorse of the competition.

In 3 days all the prelims will be over. Let's hope all the judges love Miss Trinidad and Tobago.

I agree with you to an extent with everything you said. Venezuela is beautiful, but I personally don't want to see her as Miss Universe. But she will place.

As for Gabrielle, I hope she will perform spectacular and show the girls who's boss. I am praying for her everynight.

I heard a few foreigners from MISSOSOLOGY are hoping she's not going to place and calling her a old looking and a slut.

O.K. I have to admit that MUSA will be a Trump pick in my opinion because she just looks anorexic. I can't see her being the 'picture of healthy' MU.

I know you said that you were not impressed with Ghana. Well, in my opinion Ghana was playing it safe. I don't think Trump wants a black MU so I expect her to fly under the radar and deliver where & when it counts-with the prelim judges. She is one of the most prepared Miss Angolas in history. I have no doubts about her interview skills.

I really do think Trump will pick Bahamas because she is a pretty decent rep. (top 25 material) and he will want to give Bahamas, a recent host some payback (good business move in my opinion).

Egypt has had to endure alot of uncertainty and risk to her physical well being for being in this pageant and I would be surprised if she is not another Trump pick.

Brazil has also sent a top 25 contenter so she will be another Trump pick.

As for the other two spots I do not know who they will be.

Whatever happens, I KNOW USA AND CHINA WILL BE IN THE FINAL 16.

I guess I need to learn not to watch TV and be nonline at the same time. I meant to say 'Angola' and not 'Ghana.'

But on that point, I was actually looking forward to seeing Ghana in Brazil but I have to say I have not been impressed. SHe is pretty but I don't see a competitor.
Gabby seems to be getting along with her very well though. She seems like a friendly person because she always seem to be nearby whenever we see Gabby.

I was readying C's post and it really started to make me thing Who do you think will be the MUO's pick. There have to be some girls out there that are glaringly beautiful but halting in their preparation. take Mexico. I just finished watching her video and I am at a loss for words with how short and alarmingly off topic she was with her answers but she will be there in the top 16.

Netherlands is another one. Now I know she is a favorite but I factor in pageant tends when i do my analysis. Some of the worst gown choices usually come from europe and some of the worse bathing suit performances usually come from Africa and Europe. This doesn't go well for Finland and the Netherland. Finland for me did a great job in the interview to offset the rest so I think she may be able to get to the top 9 on her own but Netherlands came across as Blah to me not bad but blah. I think though, however, that the MUO will have her as one of the girls in the running just for the looks.

After seeing the interviews I must admit Angola needs help to get to the 16. She did not exude confidence at all and i believe that may come across in her interview with the judges. She will be there in the 16 based on the fact that she has be one of the talks of the cycle and But it will be up to trump to put her there

Those are the one's that I can think of right now. other possibilities are Peru, Argentina and Ukraine

What are your thoughts?

Yo Yo I agree with most of your top ten. I am happy to see Finland she is a sleeper place to me, her face is exquiste.

Another note Trini77 tell me what think about this. I saw on Peter Elias's Facebook where he had some pics of some delegates in their gowns. When it came to Gabby's pic he stated underneath that some of his 'fashion friends said that Gabby's dress was bordering on trashy. Now i don't know who these 'friends' are but I found these comments very insulting to Gabby since Peter is supposed to be one of Gabby's mentors.

...Peter is know as a stylist apart from fashion design. The FB page is basically for him to update trends in fashion and give his take. He said it the most diplomatic way he could and I appreciate the fact he says she looks lovely in in despite what people say. Personally, I have to admit even though Gabby looks great and I don't believe this is her competition gown, I did not like the dress in this pic -maybe, if I saw it on video I would love the dress but the angle in the pic is certainally not flattering for the bordering-on-gaudy back detail.

Anyways, C I have to say that I am at least happy this year that someone in MUorg had the "balls" to finally say it is only 9 semifinalists that will be chosen by the prelim judges (assuming GB got their info right). Six based will be chosen by MUorg and one by internet vote. I would just like to point out the wording in the GB post- notice that they never said the "TOP 9" will be chosen by the prelim judges. Based on what happened last year, I still believe LaToya made the top 9 and was removed by the MUorg...but as I said, I always believed that LaToya would catch her backside to make the semis because based on what I saw at the local final she was NOT what MU was looking for.

As of now these are the Trump picks I am sure of: Egypt, USA (if the judges don't place her), BRAZIL (of course) and Bahamas (recent host).

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Gabby makes the semis on merit and is not removed by MUorg.

Due to the fact that we have such a competitive year this year and to the fact that I had a lot of free time I decided to score each of the delegates to come up with YOYO Miss Universe 2011.

About my process.
My Prelims was simply to go to GlobalBeauties.com and look at the face shots, the swimsuits and gowns. I did not look at the enlarged image just the thumbnails photo scoring on a 1 to 10 scale. This was to see who would jump out at me in the crowd. after compiling my scores I had to add the curve for sash factor (we all know it exists) This was how I chose my top 15.

My Top 10 were scrutinized some more I went back through the pictures and looked at each one individually I was shocked to find that some of them that I had loved before were only so so to me later and some of them just blew me out of the water.

For the top 5 I went to the Fadil shots. I thought to myself Whoever is crowned will have the official miss Universe Portrait taken by fadil so the top 5 need to shine in that shot like if she were already Miss Universe Truly only 5 stood out to me in this department.

Finally to Choose Miss Universe I will be using the interviews. I will look solely at the my top 5's interviews and Crown My Miss Universe from there.

Top 15 in Random Order

Netherlands

Costa Rica

Peru

Vietnam

Guatemala

USA

Finland

Australia

Trinidad and Tobago

China

Venezuela

France

Greece

Angola

Mexico

These girls stood out to me the most when doing my general overview of the Face, Swimsuit and Evening Gown Shots

Bahamas - Would have made it had it not been for the Disco Pants suit (I know she will not actually where it come competition night I just thought it wasn't the right outfit to wear)

Chile - Was very close to making it for me

Colombia - Lost it in swimwear.

Check back to see my top 10.

I personally think the prelim pics for EG and the SS are a better fit for my predictions but I like the end result of your process.

Based on your list I am sure of the following ladies being top 16 material: Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Angola and China (these are my top 4 and YES, as of now I personally think any of these can win but China seems to be the 'one to beat' at the moment with Angola in second place). Apart from these, I expect Greece, Malaysia, Costa Rica and to a lesser extent USA to make the cut. Mexico, France and Australia also seem like ladies that can crack the top 16 on merit and I want Vietnam to win the online vote because she is beautiful.

All in all, your list is great because nearly everyone has been noticed in a good way at least once since their arrival in Brazil. I can't wait to see how all 89 delegates perform for the prelims.

Thanks Trini77 I just got to see some of the interviews and oh my god WHAT THE HELL ANGOLA??

She was shy and timid and I was like NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Hopefully she is better prepared for the pressure of pageant night than she was for the interviews.

GABBY truly and you all know i try to be as objective as possible she really shun in that interview. I was floored actually. I know the questions are silly and are supposed to be so but you usually get some very let me think about a good answer quizzical look before the contestant gives you a prepared speech. Gabby just looked so interested in the questions I love the fact that she added that touch that she and her father used to watch the x-files so she would like to believe in life on other planet. It personalized her response thus letting you in a bit more instead of saying I believe in aliens because there is water on other planets. When I train models for go-see I usually tell them to try and personalize all there responses because something extra you might say might be the thing that the client remembers and they may forget about how you look or that you can't walk but they'll remember that you are the girl that loved xfiles as a child. I loved Gabby's response she is making me into a believer.

I will be watching the rest of the interviews and making my top ten list soon.

A word from the webmaster...
Comments will be removed that I find offensive or go out side the bounds of good taste,
there should be no need for use of curse words on this site, the english language is way to huge to stoop so low.
Just have a little decency when you choose to write on this message board, the stuff posted here will be searchable all over the Internet.
If you don't like the rules you are free to express yourself elsewhere... Again I did not create this site for folks to be mean or hostile to each other. No way would I want the contestants to feel degraded by comments placed on here...The people who want to represent TNT should feel proud to come to this site, constructive criticism is welcomed not destructive.
If you feel hurt that your comments were removed,
just imagine how hurt the contestants and folks you bash react when reading a posting that is outlandish.
