In reply to: datruth 's message, "LATOYA" on Friday, October 30, 09:47:20pm

I looked at all the photos of LaToya and the only resemblance to Faye is that besides both being insanely gorgeous, they both have that rich sunkissed honey complexion. Faye had a strong AfroAsian look about her, although she is a conglemerate of more than those two ethnicities. The first thing that jumped out at you were her almond shaped Oriental eyes. LaToya, on the other hands, shouts "Creole" as in the mix of Afro and European features. She has very very refined features but she is more akin to Penny Commissiong than to Faye in my eyes. Nevertheless, both are extremely representative of any of the many mixtures in Trinidad, resulting from our rich comsmopolitan identity. We can't escape it.

Having a girl with a new look might be refreshing but the underlying aim should be to pick the girl has the greatest potential to bring home the crown. And for me, that girl is LaToya.
